Usually when the window isn’t going well we’ve had negative ITK by now so I’m remaining positive.

This is now rolling into a situation where it maybe one of the biggest let downs or absolutely epic.

Please, please let it be epic. ???

If I remember rightly we had positive ITK up to about lunchtime on deadline day last Summer...

I wouldn’t worry. ITK is posted in good faith and a huge tub of salt to be taken always. Not saying anything huge is happening but if something was bubbling for example there was a possibility Bale was coming home, I’m sure the club would tighten up on any leaks..

Didnt we have ITK at various points that GLC or others similar were NOT dependent on selling Eriksen? Now it seems that has taken top priority.

I'm guessing that Sess is announced on deadline day as a publicity type thing as that's the only real positive ITK we have had recently. If Eriksen is sold after English window ends without several replacements, it will be an extremely disapponting window even with Ndombele being added.

Can't imagine Poch will be happy if nothing happens by Thursday. Really hoping the next few days are different than last summer but setting up in a similar way.

And by most ITK accounts dealings for our targets are (or have been) so progressed that I expect these things can move pretty quickly once it gets close to the deadline. Its not like we have to start identifying targets and cold calling the respective clubs. My take is that our deadline being earlier than most of Europe it was always going to go to the line for some of these deals. Other clubs seem to be having the same issues.

I’m surprised we haven’t announced the sales of Onomah, CCV & Marcus Edwards, simply as all 3 have played no part in Pre season, I also think if someone comes in it will be Sessegnon only, can’t see either GLC or BF coming in this late in the window taking into consideration the complexities around 3rd ownership & % etc, I’ll be pissed if TND & one more is the only business we do, but come Saturday at 5:30pm whether we agree with our transfer window policy or not, we’ll all get behind the team & go again !!!!!

It’s pretty crazy how little ITK we’ve seen in here this summer, given the rebuild we were expecting.

2.5 days to go and virtually nothing is coming out of the woodwork. We surely can’t be planning to go for 4-5 players on the last day. That’d be so risky.

Really ? The ITK has been clear as day. Our targets were RS, TN, JC, GLC. That was always the plan or thereabouts. Now we are trying to get two of those over the line with difficulty. There are rumours of an alternative in BF.
