Know I shouldn't question the ITK but am struggling with the latest snippets.

Ade has never been a giant mercenary bell-end before. Why should he suddenly start now? Just doesn't make sense.

Did we not have ITK earlier in the window that in comings are not dependent on outgoings? I guess we've reverted to type on that front...to dare is too dear maybe lol

Reply: "Left BH on Wednesday and everything was agreed, as far as I'm aware nothing has changed. I spoke to ******* this morning and he never mentioned any problems."

Considering Levy has shifted about £260k's worth of wages (without Ade going), I don't think that's accurate at all. Can't see Wimmer, Toby and Trippier on 85k each!

While I totally agree you also need to account for the contract extensions/pay raises. Still don't thi that'd be anywhere close to what we shifted out, however.

I'm not so excited about the fact it is Adebayor going, more that Poch seems to be having his plans backed and that hopefully it leads to a much needed and overdue incoming. (Overdue in regards to when the season starts btw, not in an overly negative sense)

I know josh got a £15k rise and bentaleb is rumored to have a £40-50k hike. It builds up.

But we should be able to absorb those costs.

Not sure why people are worried. Itk says next week for berahino and werner should be soon. Gone quiet on the dm though. Does jasper still think it's done?

the fact that Villa have now completed the signing of Rudy Gestede is not going to help our concerns

BH - Bodymoor Heath, Villa's training ground.

Still expect this to go through. As much as he wants to sit and earn cash doing nothing, he must know that come next summer when he's looking for a new deal (wherever that may be), coming off a season of regular football will give him far more bargaining power than having spent a season sat in the stands at WHL.

As for the others, plenty of positive noises surrounding Berahino and Werner this week, mixed with the odd ITK of caution. DM seems to be he one really under the radar.
