I've been wondering about this myself. Anyone able to clarify who the poster is, and why it's in the RO?

I reckon it may be that Aulas dont wanna spend the money. Last day? no time to do so.

Technically, french transfer window does not finish until january, as there is a joker transfer window after the international one closes which allows french clubs to sign 1 player from another french club only

Well the lack of announcements stating we've agreed any fees and the announcement from the club we're trying to sign Lloris stating we can't agree a fee is a bit of a give away!

Hoping you all are right with your assumptions regarding Lloris. I, for one, remain hugely skeptical based on the fact that Lyon chose to announce it publicly. That's not something you do if you are in negotiations with somebody. I agree with the person who thought this had now gone personal. I am purely speculating but I find it a very odd move. Hope there is time to sort it out. All I know is that Lyon. Pres Aulas has a reputation of being a huge c**t. Just throwing some caution out there...

regardless of what happens, even if moutinho, lloris, remy/willian don't come off, dembele + siggy + verts + ade alone is more than enough to make this window a huge success in my eyes

Yeah I agree, we'll know soon enough I suppose, but im sceptical on him joining now too. There was no problem between the 2 clubs at the start of the week when Aulas said clubs have agreed and its up to Lloris now, then why put that kind of statement on their site, the whole thing just stinks.

Disappointing not to see another deal done today

Feel like we really need 3 more if not 4 signings still and just can't see that amount of dealings being completed on the final day, even if lots of deals have been negotiated down the line already, just seems like too much business to realistically complete tomorrow.

I think at best there will be two deals for incommings

I feel like without another striker, CM to replace Luka and a keeper we will be light in our squad. (not to mention wing cover although we could get someone who could cover 2 roles perhaps)

Really hoped something would happen today too, I have no doubt more than one player will come in tomorrow but if they will be of the quality we really want and enough of them to really appease us after the loss of Modric and the failure to secure CL football last year....I don't know
