Only two bits of ITK yesterday, despite Spurs being back in the UK, so lets hope we get a few titbits over the coming few days.

OK we'll kick off with Disco, making his debut in the round-up.....

Still havent managed to get into the round up. Must remember to be more witty\out there\annoying or just plain dumb!

For those that keep saying "Bayern in for Ozil", can you post some evidence of this one please, news story or whatever :shrug:

The jury is out on wether it's PMT or ITK stress syndrome. Read the fucking round-up Fazza and we might avoid another Groundhog Day.

Richards - Fee was agreed, Personal Terms agreed, was booked in for medical, only for City to pull the plug, saying dont want to sell anymore. He wants to come still, they more than likely will sell but are playing silly buggers.
Upson - (will try and sign if Richards doesnt go through eventually) Enquired and were quoted 8m, keen to sell, he will also wants to come.
Cole - Agreed in principal with Arsenal,excepted terms etc, then did exactly that to us and told us he was coming, then did exactly the same with Liverpool, had time to think, made a final decision on us, but then liverpool offered more money and surprise suprise he went there.
Young - Enquired, they will sell at right price, not sure of this price, he wants to come. This is part of the snowball/dominoe effect waiting to happen with Milner and City. Villa def want Keane and Jenas so been told this deal should happen one way or another.
Cardozo - Still our number one choice. Enquirys/Negotations will be starting from weekend.
Gilardino - Nothing at all happening anymore, wants to finish career over there
There are the targets, but was told that things happen change constantly along with arry's fibs, player makeweights, clubs smokescreens etc etc
Parker - All was told was no bid, but he is rated and enquiry made with Upson
Suarez - Been touted about to clubs, including us. Silly money quoted tho, dont be suprised to see him end up at Anfield is what i was told.
Bellamy - Is a loan option only and will happen if agreed, but again City playing silly buggers
Fabiano - Not happening
Ozil - Would be interested and enquiry made, again dont be suprised to see him at Man United is what i was told
Naughton, Bellamy, O'hara - will all be sold, actively trying
Forgot to ask about Dzeko!! and that Croatian loan GK
However just a hunch but i got the feeling that my source wasnt being totally 100% with me when it came to Suarez and Ozil.
Right here it is, this is what i was told, just passing on.. I couldnt understand how we have our targets and 2nd choices but then are after other players too!!! So dont ask why. And i also cant believe i get told this much, so can understand peeps thinking the same. Just passing on as a fortunate fellow yid.

SP Update. As in some papers he wants to talk to us, transfer request looming Not even heard Upson mentioned CC wont happen that is definate we were interested as i said before but it was to be part of O'Hara going the other way which is not happening due to his back injury. Obviously Sullivan doesnt want to sell but Parker is interested and has requested to speak to us. ...

Spurs to offer Bentley, Jenas and Keane in swap deal for Villa star Young

Harry Redknapp is willing to give Aston Villa up to three Spurs stars in a bid to finally get Ashley Young.
Tottenham boss Redknapp tried unsuccessfully to lure Villa’s wing wizard Young, 25, last summer. Villa fended off interest from the London club by handing Young a pay-rise increasing his salary to £65,000-a-week.
But Redknapp remains a huge admirer of the former PFA young player of the year.

Villa’s £30million price tag on the winger means Tottenham cannot afford him despite qualifying for the Champions League.
But Redknapp knows Villa boss Martin O’Neill rates Robbie Keane, David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas.

All three stars were marginalised at White Hart Lane last season by Redknapp as Spurs finished fourth in the Premier League.
And Redknapp is willing to sanction an exchange involving any of the trio for Young, who cost Villa £9.65m from Watford in January 2007.
Redknapp and O’Neill have already discussed Villa signing Republic of Ireland ace Keane.

Jenas, meanwhile, started Spurs’ friendly against Villarreal last night, but was taken off injured after 17 minutes.
And Redknapp knows only a mouth-watering offer for ex-Watford trainee Young will get the Villa star.

But Villa need to sell-to-buy and could be tempted to do business to revamp their squad if Young asks to quit. Young, who would jump at a return to London, could ask to leave to put pressure on Villa to finally do business with Tottenham. Redknapp also wants to sign Villa defender Curtis Davies and Man City stopper Micah Richards to bolster his defence.

I can't believe how quiet it's been on the transfer front in the last week or so. Either the drawbridge has been well and truly drawn up leaving all the ITKs languising on the wrong side of the moat (metaphors FTW!) or we're happy wiv wot we've got.

It's now only two weeks till the start of the season so I think we're already at the stage where anyone who signs may not be playing in the first couple of games.

It's looking increasingly like one of THOSE 31st August windows.

We thought it was slow last summer, yet by 29 July we'd had 240 items of ITK. We opened up two weeks earlier this summer too… Eek
