Good morning ITK addicts. I'm afraid there's not much 'proper' ITK to bring you, so we've cracked open a cheap energy drink in order to celebrate the return of your Daily Round-Up and we'll include little snippets of news from elsewhere.........

We'll kick off with what turned out to be the only 'proper' ITK of the day when Glennspurs said 'feel the deal' regarding Scott Parker.

Uh, sorry if this is a silly question, still fairly new to the site, but what's this thread for?

It's a place for people to vent their angst and for me to talk about big titted brunettes slowly sucking on a Cornetto.

Then the Apprentice gave us a bit too much information............

according to Spurs Oddyssey levy is flying to germany today - werder want a player included, we have offered 15M plus Dos Santos, Real have offered 12M plus Gago (Gago doesnt want to go)....Ozil has a preference for england and wants to ensure he gets regular game time .

Every window we get a so and so is flying to wherever story. It's tradition.

Spursandbarca came in with what? ITK? A guess? A proper news story? A steaming pile of bullshit? :evil:

Do me a favour and post the source of this story. Nerves are rather frayed around here you see and there are people lurking about with daggers gripped between their teeth and murderous thought in their heads.

So rather than popping into the thread and dumping that here, leaving people wondering wether you've posted some ITK or its info from a credible site, would you clarify? Otherwise there's every chance you could wake up in the morning with your favourite pets noggin lying next to you in your bed.

In the papers today Bellamy is off to Fulham

Mark Hughes wants to make Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy his first signing with the £15m transfer kitty he will be handed when he is officially named Fulham manager.

Oh no he isn't, well not according to The Sun......

Tottenham are looking to tempt Manchester City with a £4m bid for Bellamy.

And The Daily Mail say this.......

West Ham have offered midfielder Scott Parker £20m to stay but he wants to leave to play European football.

Various rags have this about Bostock.........

Tottenham's teenage midfielder John Bostock believes his progress is being damaged by foreign players in the English game. The 18-year-old, who was on loan at Brentford last season, wants another loan move as he has only made three substitute appearances for Spurs in two years

Great round up A&C even if there wasn't a lot to go on.

A couple of things from the bottom of the roundup, 1. I think Hughes might be the one person that City are less likely to give players to than us and 2. Bostock isn't in a position yet where he should be saying he needs a Premiership place. The foreigners coming in are better than him and if he wants the place he should really get his head down and work for it. I don't like the attitude that he should have it on a plate, but maybe he was given a loaded question and he was just being a little naive with the press.

So thats where the £20m figure for Parker came from. And people actually entertained the idea of us having to pay that much for him :roll:

I can't believe so much negativity in this window. Would we rather be in Man City's position? Or would we rather have a solid top 4 squad already(which we do) and looking forward to a Champions League qualifier?

We should be happy with the squad we have. Any additions will be a great bonus, and we will bring a couple of players in. It's time to look forward to the new season, the full squad is back together, and our first game at WHL this season is ahead :dance:
