Get thee in the...

Oh...carry on.
Made me chuckle though. Nonsensical transfer for me. We've been linked with him since he was at Charlton, it just has to happen. Once it's done, it's done but it must happen. Then we can all move on with our lives.

The minimum we gain from signing Parker is, it pretty much relegates West Ham.

Ballague on sky's la liga coverage said Lyon also in for fabiano...says sevilla have decision to make having lost 20m euros on failing to qualify for champs league...but said cos they sold adriano to Barcelona for 20m euros already they may decide they have already balanced the books

Parker is an odd one. He's a good player and I suppose we have to compare him to Palacios as that's the position he'd play in.

He's probably a better passer than Palacios and probably positionally a bit better (although I'm not sure of that). I'd see Palacios as a better defensive player though and better at running with the ball as well.

If you'd asked me if I wanted Parker 12 months ago I'd have said no. But Palacios does seem to have gone off the boil quite alot recently so maybe Parker isn't an awful option. Also the midfield today looked like it needed a leader and he does offer that.

For 8m or so you can't really argue, particularly if we ship out either JJ or O'Hara for a similar amount.

The Daily Fail say Parker is poised for an £8million move to Spurs.

His sideways passing and lack of creativity should complement our sideways passing and lack of creativity nicely.

He's exactly what we need when we need to break down stubborn defences/10 men behind the ball at WHL.....

Fabiano not playing tonight is moderately interesting from a transfer perspective. He is after all there number one striker, although it could just be because all this transfer talk has effected (or they thought it might) his performance. If he starts - we definitely aren't getting him - If he was not even on the bench - highly likely we were. The fact that he was an unused sub is harder to decipher.

Please, Please if we have a choice, Diarra not Parker. Parker is a good player with good aggression and leadership but he is definitely not an upgrade in terms of football on what we have. He won't make our squad weaker, but he won't catapult us to a new level either.

So why buy Sandro then?

I hear what you're saying about Wilson! (TM) I hope it's just a temporary blip and not a terminal decline as witnessed after Edman got that knock on his head or Chimbo after an excellent start and he went a bit meh forever after.

So do I because Wilson has, in my opinion, been the most important player in our team since Redknapp came on board. It's just a case of whether he can continue that.

Sounds like Ballague does'nt have a bloody clue about whats happening with Fabiano, so in true journalistic style, he edges his bets by saying Sevilia might sell him or might keep him.

That fence that Ballagues sitting on must really leave splinters in his backside:roll:

I still find it hard to believe that The Dildo Brothers would go back on their promise to the West Ham fans.

I also remember Scott Duxbery (is he still there?) making a statement not so long ago that they would never sell their best players to us.

It will be probably be worth the transfer fee alone just to witness the shitstorm of abuse that will be headed their way if this is really happening.

Really? Those two would say anything to keep people happy and if we sign him I would bet now that they paint Parker as the devil as soo as possible.

But yeah...regardless of whether we need him we should sign him just to piss them off...for shits and or giggles.

They'll probably claim Parker isn't one of their best players.

Fuxbery went in January.

Parker is just what we needed today! Experience. Diarra may be a better long term option but this team needs it now! Parker may be the best signing we make this summer?!

Got a little snippet of info via a source i trust fairly well. I don't claim to be ITK at all but i have a friend who has contacts at the club and he has been right with info before. Check my previous posts, he gave me info about us being interested in Remy before any other ITK mentioned it. Obviously the Remy bids fell through but he was still right in the respect of us being interested.

Should i just post it or does a mod want to verify the source first?

NOTW saying we are in for Rossi - if we can get Rossi, Fabiano, Young & Diarra or Parker I'd be ecstatic

Would be amazed if we get more than one of those

I would file it under the same file that houses Downing and Arshavin.
