To clarify, you mean a cb and a forward before the preseason tour of korea not a korean cb (we were linked with kim min jae in previous windows).

I initially read it as Korean CB, but think he means Korea tour and want a CB

Concerned there’s no mention of RWB and specifically Spence, that is pivotal long term to get a pacey option in that position and it feels like one that should be fairly easy to get over the line. Slight PTSD hearing it’s Levy dealing on that one and it’s the one that’s dragging out…

Why concerned?
It's been mentioned a few times we are happy to let this one run.

I’m a bit confused, which isn’t hard! Ali Golds article, what does it actually mean. Thought the money was already available??‍♀️

After a window spent referring to Tomiyasu as "the Japanese lad" I made this same mistake initially.

A good attacking midfielder won't come cheap either.

So according to AG, we want two CB's (if one of ours departs), an Attacking midfielder, RWB, and Striker.

I'm intrigued to see how Paratici solves the puzzle :D
We don’t need an attacking midfielder. ITK suggests we’re playing 3-4-3 and we are looking for another forward.

I’ve not seen that, I was largely going off the comments around Conte wanting the main players in by Korea - and I’m assuming that Spence is likely going to be a starter. So long as it gets done then we’re happy obviously but I’m nervy on that one!

I'd guess that the AM we 'may' want would be funded by sales i.e Winks, Lo Celso etc.

Priority would be the centre half & forward. That's the key squad investment!

The 150m total was something the club could draw on in tranches until the end of the year. They’ve decided to take 100m of it now, leaving 50m for a potential later date this year.

The 150m is a maximum, and we don’t _have_ to take the full amount, so I imagine we’ll only draw upon what we need

I'm feeling more dense than usual-
What does "Drawing it down" mean?

when you have an agreed monetary income of any kind like loan etc it can be agreed in principle without the cash actually hitting your account. Drawing down means that some/all of that agreed money actually going into your account and becoming available to spend

The money was to be drawn out over the course of the year. The fact we've drawn 2/3rds of it in one hit suggests we could be about to do some big business, which a CB and ST would be.

Worth remembering deals aren’t all cash up front so £100m of cash could finance a lot more in deals
Possibly but I imagine you need the money to cover the deal over the duration somehow otherwise you are literally spending money you don't have and are gambling you'll get the money in from somewhere.
Don't get me wrong I know nothing of how this works but I don't think you'd spend all your money this year thinking you will get some more next year.
