If it’s in Italy just look elsewhere for now, other countries will deal with us.
The Paratici thing will have a conclusion by the summer whether that be the case and suspension or his position becomes untenable and is let go.

Im sure we can get away with not dealing in Italy just for this month.

Couldn't they put him on gardening leave - announce that and it might make us more appealing to deal with?
Same thing really. In reality, the club would be admitting he is guilty if they did that.

Sure it’s frustrating if we can’t sign players from Italy this transfer window, but the bigger picture is more important. That’s still not giving the club license to be dormant for the rest of the window however. The market exists beyond Serie A, regardless of where your DoF comes from.

we must be the only club in the world to have a DoF , responsible for shaping our squad, who has an entire country of clubs who CANNOT deal with him - you literally could not make it up

Yep, Levy has outdone himself this time :D

nailed it! folks having a whine here as if Italy is the only place we can shop. frankly, sitting on our asses all window listening to our negotiations for Porro makes you wonder what plan we had all along. This just plays into Daniel's hands quite nicely 'cos now he can close chequebook and claim its to save our reputation whilst letting our squad suffer with holes all over the place

He’s already been found guilty.

Paratici being banned from transferring players from the Italian league is the same thing as an alcoholic being banned from his local pub

Prof on COYS was hinting the other day that we had concerns about Paratici’s extra curricular activities in London too. Seemed to be hinting at personal “issues” my guess is it’s something like Pleat got done for.
I find it hard to believe no one in Italy will deal with us because of Paratici.

Paratici has been implicated because of the dodgy practices of the club he represented, Juventus. It has no bearing on how we operate as a club.
Personally, I think levy’s in a tough situation here. For all we know, Conte and Paratici could fleece the club this window, by helping their mates out in Italy with dodgy buys, and then swan off in the summer leaving us bang in trouble. Who doesn’t think Zaniola is a risky signing??? I know I do. Funny how apparently it was Dumfries for our top rb priority and zaniola for forward areas,

No point having him as our DoF then is there? That's where he produces the goods for us in Italy

I do not doubt for one minute the ITK, but would add that Levy could (and likely would be) involved directly with any Italian club should it be the case that Paratici has been shunned in dealing on Italy?
