Just to be clear - I meant craic. I do not endorse anyone on the ITK discussion board taking crack, although if we do not have a new striker on board by 11.30 on the 31st - I may have to.

Yes, I believe that West Ham want to sign O'Hara. They know he will leave Spurs, if not now then in Jan.

He's about their level, Grant is a big fan, mates with Harry and coached in last season. It's really not such a big leap to make.

A lot of foriegners on twitter are saying that we have bid $40.5 million for Fabiano (don't know if that's Zimbabwaen dollars). Obviously coming from some Spanish sport paper or media outlet, don't know which one though.

We all know what Harry says does not (necessarily) equate to the truth!

I almost believe ITKs more than Harry!!! (did that come out a bit harsher than I meant it? I hope not!)

amongst other stuff.

Likely destination for Ibra is AC Milan.... KJH?

He did say he cant comment on the two players as its complicated, but will when he can.

I'd imagine he's implying Huntelaar as well (or less likely, Ronaldinho)...unless Zlatan's coming on loan to us!

Its actually a good and logical fit for player and club. The fans over there will love him as he has a bit of quality but is also a fairly local lad and gives it his all on the pitch.

I would say that he could do very well for them and that they are about his level.

It is, but how seriously crocked is he? We don't know. However, if his back problem requires surgery (as seems to be the case) it could mean a couple of months out, at least. Are the Spammers really going to p-ex one of their best players (even though he's not got the greatest fitness record himself) for someone who might not be available until October or November?

Sorry, it just doesn't add up—although I recognise that common sense and Spammers signings have had only a passing connection in recent years.

It's ok, I love you

Yeah... I echo this. We love you adie!

adie and brownhead's ITK have been good reads this window, credit where it's due.

People need to remember that it's given in good faith and take it as such. Also don't get wound up if events eventually disprove things - shit happens, injuries happen, circumstances change!

The inner workings of football is no doubt fairly fast-passed at times. We could be interested in a player one minute and for some reason pull out of the running cos something else happens.

And that would be because Redknapp wants a man in the squad. We have a tonne of talent, we probably don't need another central midfielder with Huddlestone, Palacios, Modric, Sandro and Jenas who can all play there but we could do with a few more characters and people who will give it all for the cause. If he thinks Parker is that man fair enough because we don't really have a leader in the middle (as much as Palacios is a great man and tenacious as anyone he isn't a leader).

Diarra has always come across as a bit of a little bitch. He ducked out of Chelsea when it got too tough. Couldn't cut it at Arsenal. Stood out at Pompey and now has faded into nothing at Real. Despite being a talented player (even if he does have a fair dose of Zokora in him) is he going to add the leadership that our team really needs? If not then why not put our faith in our other talented central midfielders?

I've also had this suspicion about him. Then I was recently browsing through a real madrid forum reading comments about Diarra and there is quite a divided opinion of him. Many of them recognise him as a good player that was brilliant in the first few months of his arrival but has a weak mentality and tends to sulk when the going gets tough which has ultimately cost him a palce and now looks to be dispensable

This is clearly a pivotal week in the recent history of thfc. If all goes to plan we will be in the group stages of the cl with a favourable draw in the group. Have brought in Diarra, Fab and perhaps Turan/Hleb, moved a few out and also have a nice 3 pts from the Wigan game.

We are the last ones of the top 5 (yes, there is clearly a top 5 this season) to strengthen and if we could get some momentum going before the international break with 2 more wins in the league who knows what we could do?

I think we should be aiming to finish above Man u and the scum as well as city. None of them are better than us really, it is all in the mind and with more top quality players, we could really do something this season.

Exciting times!

Yeah quality post there walworthyid. Our first 11 with the additions of fab & diarra would really round of what is already a very good squad. I see no reason why we cant mount a title challenge - its optimistic, but its better to aim for the stars and land on the moon...

Brownhead-

The Khumalo lad you have down on your list has only just arrived at the club for his trial thats the only bit I see that is off from everything else! Great info and thanks for passing it along same with ADI!

Dont know if this has been discussed but we do have a Honduran striker on trial but I've heard we've bought him through Honduran newspapers, his name is Anthony Lozano from Olimpia

This was said in the newspaper about the deal

"Lozano is traveling to Tottenham already signed. Olimpia's president, Rafael Ferrari, announced it today.

"Lozano is not going on trial or on a loan, I sell my players, not lend them and Lozano is already sold", said Ferrari.

Now we're talking. Id still like to see a 4-4-2 in the EPL, this for away fixtures and CL.
