I'd love to know who people's sources are, but I'm nosey. I also respect that shit like that can't be divulged! Damn the nature of the ITK business.

This is the most excited i've been in this window. Maybe because there's only a week left, but I just feel that all the waiting will prove to be well worth it.

We're gonna win the fucking League.

dont PM him. You dont need to give out your source at all

And can we put the handbags away.

adiepf, said Westham wanted O'Hara. Possible that they have been asking about him.
O'Hara could easily have had a set back and is why he is only just having sugary now rather than during the summer.

Its unlikly that O'Hara will move anywhere this window, but Westham might have wanted him.

just ignore the doubters mate - u dont need to get drawn into justifying yourself to everyone. If/when your ITK comes to fruition then that will answer your doubters.

...domino effect is very possible. I posted on here what Harry told my boss regarding Pienaar, and its been in the papers everyday since. Including Mirrors exlusive tomorrow

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...ch-swap-for-Steven-Pienaar-article562351.html

What a half arsed article that is. 'West Ham will not part with Scott Parker and Stephen Ireland chose Aston Villa ahead of them.'

So it seems that everyone in the entire football univers knows that City are refusing to sell to their direct apart from this cretin.

I'd be suprised if there's even an ounce of truth in the entire article.

It's hardly surprising that Grant would want Ohara is it, he had him at Pompey all last season and seemed to play him regularly. He wouls also know all about his injury.

It's very impressive of Fabiano that he's not unsettled by this and Sevilla must have a lot of confidence in him to play him in an incredibly important match knowing that he's leaving the following day. Plus we're putting the majority of our eggs in a basket which could get omlette-ified dependant on results/injuries etc.Sevilla must be confident that Kanoute can cope with the increased work load what with Chevanton being released and Sevilla haven't replaced him let alone Fabiano.

but from what I rememeber at the time, I think we had discussions regarding west ham and O'hara at the time Pompey were struggling with their embargo. O'hara will go to West Ham. I'll stick my neck on the line, not as much as adeipf i know but hey ho

This!

We're all very grateful for the info and can see that far from trying to become a "sc celebrity" you are merely passing on what you are hearing!

There are some right irritating people on here that just don't get it.

I personally think its a bit silly, as somebody who could probably get some info if I went out of my way as a result of family connections in football, but it can also be very exciting.

Take it or leave it, even comment saying you don't believe it, but don't spoil it for everybody else by hounding the people giving the info off of the forum.

Lets wait and see if he even starts for Sevilla first. They may put him on the bench and only bring him on if needed.

They have to sell him really though. He only has 1 year left on his contract and his value will only decrease between now and the end of the season.

If O'Hara's had this injury since May then why didn't he get it operated on then? Rather than hanging about until two weeks into the football season?

No idea.

You say that, but on O Hara's twitter he said that he hoped to return to training last week - clearly there has been some kind of setback.

No, I don't say that, press reports back in May said that. In fact, O'Hara said that himself:

"I have got two fractures on the lower part of my spine and if it was any other time of the season it is eight weeks out," he said. "After the Cup final I will be out for a couple of months; it will just be rest because it is a stress fracture. Spurs are looking at it as a longer-term thing and I am going to miss some of pre-season."

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/may/10/portsmouth-jamie-ohara-fa-cup-final

He could, of course, have been talking bollocks, but I don't think so. And if there's been a setback, what do you imagine it could be?

One grants that the Spammers are dickheads, but do you really think they'd contemplate signing O'Hara—let alone doing a p-ex with one of their best players, even though the latter is a bit of a crip himself—with that kind of doubt hanging over him?

Its actually a good and logical fit for player and club. The fans over there will love him as he has a bit of quality but is also a fairly local lad and gives it his all on the pitch.

I would say that he could do very well for them and that they are about his level.
