Sounds like we'll be lucky to get 1 more in, which I probably would have taken at the start of the window (N'dombele + GLC/Dybala/Sess). Hopes have been a bit high though, so it is pretty natural to be concerned. Interested to see what info leaks out over the next few days.

Oh dear this last piece of itk changes everything. Looks like the doom merchants will have their day again. So the best we might have is one in. Obviously selling prize assets to bring in another name but player unproven in the EPL is not a gain

You should read the LoCelso thread where there are stories quoted from Betis that it’s already budgeted they have to sell. It’s just Betis trying to play poker with Levy atm

Despite all the positive ITK sounds like Levy is reverting to type, so far we have had a net spent of 40m this year (TN in, JC in, MD out, KT out) GLC in will take that up to 90m. So according to Ghostfarmo if we want Sessignon and Dybala we have to sell to balance the books. 90m net spend over a 2 year period for a club of our stature is ridiculous, Villa have spent 125m this year, West Ham 100m last year and 75m this year, how can these clubs do this but we can't having qualified for the CL 4 years running and just announcing an massive sponsorship deal.
Ambition off the field but not on it.

What you mean is despite people that know saying we are going big and have already broken our transfer record you'd prefer to stick to your opinion that we aren't trying to sign other high profile players.

Who gives a toss what villa and wet spam are spending they are still shit. Arse signed aubameyang and Iacazette and are still below us.

For me if we keep Eriksen and don't get dybala that is a win. If we sign dybala and lose Eriksen that is a win of sorts. Chill out mate

As far I think, nothing has fundamentally changed with Levy. We have all been here time and time again. Yes we have signed one impressive signing and spent a big chunk on him but we are head count down in the squad and that must have freed up significant weekly budget. I think Poch is pissed, hence his comments yesterday in the presser. Only time will tell now but my expectations are for zero activity as I’m afraid I have no faith any more.

Have you imagined if WE spent that though, I'm sure we'd defo improve, because we're a proper club with a proper manager and vision of where we want to be.

12 days left in the window, I'm pretty sure some of these deals are probably all but done and just awaiting a preferred time to announce, or awaiting medicals, etc. I'm not overly worried personally
