Can I ask why the wishlist thread was locked?

It’s basically a “talk about every player” thread.

It’d turn into chat about every single player and would basically be a replacement for the discussion thread but with any player being allowed.

If there’s a specific player who we’ve had any kind of link with, use the player thread for that player.

Basically if people want to discuss what players they want to buy for spurs, they can go in the football manager thread (computer game).

A game in which they can manage spurs and try and buy whatever players they want.

Any transfer related threads in Spurs Chat get locked for the duration of the transfer window because ITK crosses over and we can't be everywhere at once, keeping ITK in one place as much as we can is the most prudent course of action and a must I'm afraid.

Basically, to add to what @Rob said, you're free to 'wish' in any of the player threads, for example, Maddison & Grealish were brought up (I guess) in response to the possibility of losing Eriksen so that would have been best posted in the Eriksen thread. This thread is moderated completely differently to any other on SC but the players threads are much more relaxed (as long as it doesn't get silly)

Then find a players thread where he'd be an alternate and talk about him. Nobody is stopping you.

We tried having a version and it actually needed massive moderating. See above, ITK gets posted in there and it means double the work. We supply one venue for that and this is it. You actually have multiple threads to 'wishlist' in.

Cheers Hercules but after last summer I am not holding my breath.

It’s not as if I can really justify expecting any business in Jan, as we all know it’s a hard market. But, if I’m honest, I will be a little disappointed if our only business this season is one or two youth players who don’t actually join until next summer.

Been linked with Jarrod Bowen at Hull so wouldn't be surprised if he is the player from the Championship. Scored twice v Leeds yesterday. Plays in a position we are well covered in so could leave him at Hull for the season.

Would be pleased with Berge though admittedly have only seen highlight reels, but Genk appear to have both outstanding scouts and youth development given the quality of players coming through that club over the past decade, a bit like Ajax.

Thanks, Herc. I can imagine why you don’t necessarily like passing info on. Even a nunnery has the odd dick in it from time to time
