It was not a cryptic.that’s what I read into A&C’s post. But. I’m not willing to but my arse on the line to start a trend.

If this is where we end, I think we're missing two first team players.
An upgrade on CB - I can see why we're waiting for the right player as this (like Romero) is someone we'll need as a core player for 5+ years.
A attacking midfielder - someone who can break down teams by direct runs (Zaniolo/Traore/etc).
The problem is that the league looks like it could be there for the taking this year and we might not get the same opportunity again (similar to when Liverpool signed Van Dijk and really pushed on and we stagnated).
The other concern is that a lot of the deadwood will be back with us next summer...
Of course it wasn't... wink wink ?It was not a cryptic.
Why is everyone losing their shit, sorry?
Perisic definitely improves the first XI in the short term, and Udogie most likely in the long term. We've done very good business there imo. I'm also backing Lenglet to play his way into the side.Hard to know what to make of this window. If you take it at face value Richarlison, Perisic and Lenglet all improve the squad. Bissouma might improve the starting line up in time.
A little disappointing we didn't actually improve the first team that much. Would have liked a starting CB and another attacking option but that's mostly because we seemed to be trying and have come up short.
If we're only linked to Traore now I'd rather not spend and end up with next year's dead wood than buy him.
Some think we’re undercooked and also depends how you interpret Hercs post earlier ??
I have no idea what this means?I really wish some of us would wake up. I’m not happy, and don’t buy everything the club wants us to believe. Sorry for being so blunt.
There’s no hidden meaning. People need to stop looking for cryptics or clues in every single word an ITK posts. Herc is just disappointed that we look like not adding anyone else.I have no idea what this means?
He's not happy with our transfer window, club promises of spending more, hence the £150 million. Started out well but fell short again. Was expecting a couple more big signings to come in to complete the squad, but as per usual there is an 'excuse' why we didn't follow through with the hype. Perhaps he feels Conte is not going to be best pleased and his frustration is the possible knock on effect that could have on Conte's future with us.I have no idea what this means?

The problem is we don't exist in a vacuum, who honestly could have forseen the fees that the likes of Man U and Chelsea are paying. He's not happy with our transfer window, club promises of spending more, hence the £150 million. That would be my interpretation, but as 99.9% of my interpretations are wrong, feel free to make up your own conclusion. In true SC style, I've now cemented my opinion as fact in my head and in a few years time when we have a new manager, I'll bring this up as proof that it's all Levy's fault again.
I think this one is going to be a slow burner. Could be January, could be next summer. Might even not happen, anything can change, but the next two transfer windows are, in my onion, crucial.
Piss off with false promises come on now.False promises

We were all delighted with the thought of 150m to spend, but noone, not one of us thought that 150m would buy literally 1 elite level player.
Its easy to get angry, but a bit of perspective - we have spent. We have spent well. We are a better team today than we were in June.
I think we are still a couple of players short, but they just don't seem to be available.
For me, it's not penny pinching to not drop the best part of 100m on Antony or Gvardiol or Fofana. It's sanity.
But what's the point on spending money for the sake of spending money, I'm sure we could've spent £200m, but if its not what Conte wants then why spend? Surely it's best to hold on to that left over money for Jan and next summer when other targets maybe available? Spend now on shit and you don't have it available later for potential talent that fits!I think it feels underwhelming because we've got this cash as a bonus. I honestly thought we'd be spending close to (even over) 200m, some might say that's not realistic, but when the spammers have spent 150m without any thing from their owners , it really isn't. We've made 3 good signings, and I'm overall happy with the business. Just feels like we missed out on a special signing.
