I'm not worried about it at all. I honestly couldn't give a flying fuck how much we pay for a player or what he earns.

However.

I doubt I would be quite so flippant about it if we didn't have Levy in charge. But we have and I trust him to do what's right by the club. He's earned that trust which in turn means I have the luxury of talking like a carefree knobhead.

fair enough, tbh the only part of ur post i referred to in mine was about fm lol. the bulk of it was mostly directed at the points from bomberh that u quoted :p.

Who is this player?

Redknapp said he had narrowly failed to pull off a deal for a star player at one of England's top clubs, although he refused to name him. "There was one particular player, I just think would have been amazing for this club, an amazing signing and I really thought we had a real chance," he said. "He's at a big club and it'd be difficult. Where? In England.

I don't really know where he'd fit in our system or who he would compliment

A friend, who is a Paris based journo, rates him highly though.

Just go to Bayern and offer 20 mil for Gomez and we'd be fine.

Gomez and one of Ozil or Jovetic and i know he is injured would be perfect
dont waste money on Richards, Parker, who we do not need

Gomez and Ozil would be incredible. Maybe Marin as well? Getting a bit too greedy now.

earlier in the piece he is talking about bellamy, so its someone else. Interesting that he confirms what I was told regarding Man City refusing to deal with us. He even names Micah Richards and mor interestingly Jolean Lescott!"

As for the mystery Player? I think Young or Milner!

He said they played for a big club, he's not talking about Villa surely?

Remember those Gerrard rumours at the start of the window, came from Scutch I think?

I think we should get Parker. If for no other reason than it will probably mean relegation for West Ham

I blame Football Manager

Cue indignant posts saying i've never played it in my life

FM, CM, and way too much access to football on the TV, give some folk the misconception that this volume automatically equates to some profound understanding.

Parker is almost expected to come to us according to some spammers.

Which would go to substantiate the claims I saw first, and almost immediately, on some Spammers sites that the Dildon Brothas were leaking the 'secret public approach' that unsettled Scotty Parker, (even though it didn't because it was a private approach that was public but private  WTF), in order to play the hurt, betrayed lovers rather than the money grubbing whores (more in their line of work), which is really what they are, as they knew that just admitting they were money grubbing whores and that was why they were selling him would infuriate the Spammers fans.

Okay...deep breathes...deep breathes.

Villa are a big club! as big as us minus the Champions League football and London home!

I really don't get what you and others see in Gomez. Yes he is big and strong, but ever since he left the comfy surrounds of Stuttgart, both for Bayern and Germany, he has looked like a grade A pussy. He also has a rubbish Hasselhoff haircut.
