We haven't had any marquee signings but I'm very happy that our defence had been top priority. Looking forward to our first game. I personally don't think we're even at 50% of our capabilities yet so I really hope the majority of fans see this and give poch much needed time to implement his philosophy.

Anyways back to ITK....

Doesn't mean he stays, just like BAE being in there doesn't mean he will
I hope he does stay for this season. We need good competition for every place. Yedlin will probably replace him next season.

Surprised they didn't give Fredericks one. I thought he would be interim backup RB.

Things are looking good for MM & MS...

Southampton made 2 signings today, so i kinda think MS will be confrim next week. Same for MM, IIRC they already got a replacement, i feel we are stalling until we offload one (or even two) of the CB that were rumoured to be on the sale list. You know Levy by now, he knows if we announce we get a new CB, clubs will low ball since we will be "desperate" to sell....

so i do expect.... a defender to leave, we confirm MM, Soton bring in one or 2 more new comers, we get MS. and then we will see how the market goes... may have some reaction signing if we get good offers on the other players on the sale list, or else the deadline day will be filled with our players going out on loan.

kinda think it could be a quiet deadline day.

Sure I read that at Southampton, Poch had one defensive full back and one attacking. You could easily make a case for Rose & Walker being the attacking types and Naughton and Davies defensive. If tactical, they compliment quite effectively.

Hence Naughton.
