As said I said a few days ago, Walker is gone for the season but will definitely be back.

Both Keane and Bentley are having plenty of interest shown in them as well which is promising, especially the former. Also Woody looks to be joining a former club on loan.

He will play I am sure. He is professional and the deal still has a little way to go.

Anyone know why Villa are getting Walker? By that I mean are they intending to have him as a regular starter? Just wondering if they have injuries at right back. It would be pretty pointless for him to go there if he isn't going to be starting. No doubt he'll get some much needed Premier League experience if he does.

On the Pienaar situation, I think it would be best to sign him on a pre contract for a free in the summer. I think 'm right in saying that once a player enters the last 6mths of a contract he's free to agree a deal with another club? I'd keep Kranjcar until the summer to see if he can earn a place in the squad, sell or loan Giovani and Bentley, sign Becks until the summer, then get Pienaar in the summer.

I dont buy into the Olympic Stadium bid theory on Becks though. I have no doubt our main priority is the NDP.

I also don't see the point of all this reserve winger shuffling when we need strikers so badly.
