wasn't he at the qpr bristol game today? Seems a bit much that he would fly to spain after already watching one game already.

Was he there for the whole QPR game?

And was he there for the whole Villareal game?

Could've left on the 60th for QPR, and arrived at half time for the Villareal game to talk to whoever we want after the game and convince them to sign, i reckon

[Update 28] Graham Hunter re:pienaar - done on a pre-contract

From Graham Hunter's twitter just now:

"What IS interesting is whether it's the chairman or the manager at Spurs who really wants him... but pre contract done"

Graham Hunter has just confirmed that we've signed Pineaar on a pre-contract.

What's interesting is that he suggests that it's either a Levy signing (i.e. makes financial sense) or a Redknapp one (i.e. safe but unambitious) and the other is less convinced.

No wonder people on SC fall for this 'Levy signing' bollocks when people like Hunter spout it. Jesus wept.

cheers Dan. Moved your post to in here rather than the ITK forum as he is a journalist.

Maybe we need a twitter thread where twitter updates can be placed..... will see with the powers that be.

Cheers. Not over the moon about this, although I'm sure he knows he'd mostly be a sub

He's a good player and if this is so I'll be mildly happy, but would have been a lot happier if we had the striker situation sorted first. Not that this effects the striker situaution, but the longer the window goes with no striker the longer I feel this window will be like the summer. Long way to go yet though :hump:

Good plan. Twitter is getting more and more popular for stuff like this as well.

Good find Dan, I will rep you (assuming I can)

He also claimed that we almost had Llorente but missed out (presumably last summer) and that now he'd be very expensive (his buyout clause is about £31M), even if Real Madrid don't buy him.

Good idea - we already know a lot more about the Khumalo situation that way with the info ryantegan flagged up.

The other thing from Hunter was about Llorente:

Not sure Spurs can afford him any more. They almost had him, let him slip and now the price will be massive. If RM drop out then?

He also said a fortnight or so ago that we are interested in Cazorla, the winger from Villarreal.

Top Newsnow story is saying QPR fans are on twitter saying Kyle Walker's left them for a loan to Villa for rest of the season would be good if true some prem experience then we can really see what he's made of.

Surely not with a view to a permanent move though
