So we've gone from "the window hasn't shut yet" to "don't be negative, it's not the clubs fault they can't sell players" intresting.

How do you sell players that don’t want to be sold to the clubs that want to buy them?

We will have no problem sorting at least a loan for Reggie to Spain either.

So who does that leave - Dier and Davies? And we don’t know offers for Davies would even be considered as Ange spoke highly of him as a potential LB back up. (Sess and Gill would maybe have been on the list if not injured)

I can see both sides of the argument, and as much as I want us to get rid of the deadwood I can kinda see why Levy wants more.

To not sign a CB (after hearing all summer about 2 CB’s) or an attacker (after selling Kane), will be ludicrous.

I refuse to believe the club would be stupid enough to sell Kane without making some kind of positive move in the market before the window closes.

Think the evidence is pretty overwhelming to be honest and repeated annually.

Speculation does not = evidence. Who have we not sold because of DL’s valuation?
The more overwhelming problem is poor players on too high wages that other clubs don’t want to take on.

Some loans will make sense, others won't and will just cost us money and waste time. There is no point loaning Ndombele out again, for example, because everyone now knows he is a hopeless professional. It's time to just take the hits, cancel some contracts if necessary.

Our valuations might not be unreasonable but they are not realistic in this market.

We did exceptionally well to squeeze the extra millions out of Bayern so let's just use those gains to offset against some big losses on these unwanted players. We can't expect to be winning on both sides of the ledger all the time, we sold a 30-year old academy player running down his contract for a 100 million, what better time to take some losses on some other players who need to go.

Ange deserves a clean slate and the time necessary to rebuild.

Loaning Ndombele saves us a massive amount in wages (even if we don’t get full contribution) and we have been able to find loans for the last two years. But you would just pay up his contract?

Same with Sanchez not wanting to go to Russia. Levy agreed a pretty low price imo.
