In a desperate attempt to wrestle the limelight away from Nicdic, I have propsed an alternative awards ceremony.

You will find the format very similar and self explanatory so feel free folks;

The Awards:
Worst player of the Year
Worst team performance of the year
Worst individual performance of the year
Miss of the season
Worst moment of the season

As is customary in these parts, here are my nominations;

Worst player of the Year - Defoe
Worst team performance of the year - Fulham (Craven Cottage FA Cup)
Worst individual performance of the year - Crouch vs R. Madrid (Bernabeu)
Miss of the season - Defoe/Pav vs Blackpool (Bloomfield Road)
Worst moment of the season - Crouch sending off vs R. Madrid (Bernabeu)

Worst individual performance of the year: Gattuso v Jordan
Miss of the season: Miss April
Worst moment of the season: End of our CL adventure.

Apologies, It's all rather light hearted and i'm not encouraging a slagging-off fest or nothing - just a twist on a popular theme tis all it is!

Worst player of the Year Defoe - Usually has a string of women, not heard of any this year.
Worst team performance of the year 0-1 AC Milan - Too defensive, not the Spurs way.
Worst individual performance of the year - Bale at Inter - If he'd bothered in the first half we could have won.
Miss of the season Huddlestone - Shame to miss him for so long through injury.
Worst moment of the season Missing out on Charlie Adam- Wouldn't have had to risk Sandro away at Milan.

The Awards:
Worst player of the Year: Wilson Palacios closely followed by Vedran Corluka.
Worst team performance of the year: Fulham 4-0 Tottenham.
Worst individual performance of the year: Difficult. Been many poor individual performances this season. Jenas in Madrid was very painful viewing though.
Miss of the season: Defoe v West Ham
Worst moment of the season: The moment the January Transfer window closed and we had not signed that big name striker we had been waiting for.
