Always thought Butcher was better than Caulker myself when they were coming through. He's playing in the Denish top flight now I read a little while ago.
Cheers RickVilla, would like to know who he's doing
I parrett still part of the squad? Forgot about that bloke, weren't he meant to be the main man in the youth team?

BYW, this a good site for UK players based abroad
Of the generation that should be playing (i.e. the 19 and 20 year olds) Adam Smith and Caulker are out on loan, while Sam Cox and Calum Butcher were released.
I think all of you are going loco, he will take a strong team out there, although a few of the lads who have been playing loads will not fly.

I'd be amazed if Walker and BAE even travelled, let alone played from the start!
As SS57 says, it's a 4000mile round trip and our absolute priority is the game against Fulham which Harry knows full well as he alluded to just taking the kids when we played Rubin last time round.
Honestly, I'm half expecting us to lose out there which is no disgrace and won't significantly harm our prospects of progressing to the knockout stage either, plus it'll be fantastic experience for our young contingent.
Harry also said in the post match last night that we will still send a strong team out, despiting quite a few not travelling. It is difficult place to go, and if we send a load of our kids, particularly in defence, we could be hugely embarassed.
Granted but it's a difficult place to go even with our full strength side so like I said, the priority has to be on the Fulham game and anyone who is participating in that match shouldn't feature against Rubin.
I'd imagine by Harry saying he will send a 'strong' side it will comprise of some senior players like Pavlyuchenko, Dos Santos, Bassong, Pienaar and possibly Gallas to gain some match fitness which by no means is a bad thing.
The crucial aspect was that we managed to win at home against them so we can withstand more or less any result out in Russia and still look to progress.
