Think it's ridiculous that Kane might have to play 180 minutes a few days before a premier leauge opener vs. United... Sheer incompetence from the club.

Don't want to see anyone who will be starting against United playing more than 20-30 tomorrow.

Would go with basically fringe players and kids:

This is madness. I'm sure somebody said the reason why we did those post season games was so poch got a proper pre-season... Well thats gone out the window hasnt it. Playing Tuesday and Wednesday before an early kick off on the Saturday is something we should be trying to avoid like the plague. Christ, if this was mid season and some how we got sheduled to play a game Wednesday with EL Thursday and a game on Sunday the club would be fighting it tooth and nail... Yet WE decided this was a good idea? Complete insanity.

The reason for the tour at the end of the season was so we didn't have as much traveling at the start of the season. Not sure what you would class as a 'proper pre-season'

This is 2 pre-season games that we will be using as a last opportunity to build up fitness of players before the season starts.
I do think its a bit close to the start of the seasons, but i dont think its as big of a deal as most are making out.

I only found out that this tournament involves two games in two days about a week ago. Had to check the details a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Incredibly dumb decision to agree to it. You'd think it would make sense to have a friendly before the United game that allowed Pochettino to play his preferred line-up against another team. All this does is give them a bit of a run out in constantly changing combinations of team mates. The tactical benefits of these games are minimal at best (other than conclusively proving that Dier clearly isn't a DM).

United must be laughing their socks off at us.
