Can't wait for this. If only to get a genuine indication of where we are and how the rest of the season will pan out.

Lose the first game in our new home and it'll be Europa calling and big change over summer.

Lloris
Trippier Alder Vert Rose
Sissoko
Eriksen Dele
Moura Kane Son

If Winks or Dier are fit I'd start them over Eriksen.

There won’t be any controversial selections here from Poch - it’ll be all the mainstays crammed in and hope for the best.

As others have said, absolutely no way will he entertain dropping Hugo for our first match at the new stadium.

Lucas, Toby and Rose all deserves to start again on weds after the Pool game. Hugo deserves to be in the stands, but of course he will lead the team out. Just pray we win.

Hugo
Trippier - Jan - Toby - Rose
Winks - Sissoko
Son - Dele - Moura
Kane
Davies for Rose if he's knackered. Dier for Winks if he's not fit, or Skipp if their both not fit.

Eriksen did well as an impact sub a couple of times earlier in the year, think he needs some time out of the team.

Eriksen needs dropping I’m afraid. as does Lloris, but can’t see it happening.

Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Toby Verts Rose
Winks Sissoko
Sonny Harry Dele

i’m actually terrified that we’re going to lose this. anything but 3 points is not good enough. never know which palace will turn up though, and we’ve had a bit of a struggle against their pace and directness in recent games.

I'd seriously consider dropping Eriksen for this. Lucas should play.

And Sissoko definitely starts for me.

Lloris

Trippier
Alderweireld
Vertonghen
Rose

Sissoko
Winks

Lucas
Dele

I've shaken last night loss and are so looking forward to this mid-week game at our new stadium!

I'm sure there's some rotation and I'd like to see Son, Eriksen, Kane and Alli starting. COYS

no disrespect mate your entitled to your opinion.....

but are you seriously saying we should drop Dele for Skipp...really?

I need a lie down.

For this game - yes.

He's too sluggish in possession, I'd rather have Kane flanked with quick, direct players for this game.

Alli can wait a little longer to play in the stadium.

The whole team lacks urgency (extremely annoying), he, Eriksen and Kane are the worst culprits but Eriksen is arguably the most important player so he isn't getting dropped despite his form.

Kane is Kane and has no competition for his place but I prefer the 'old' Kane.

Alli won't get dropped but I do agree he slows the ball down alot. He did it for the whole game yesterday. Kills any momentum

Lloris is not going to get dropped for this game IMO. Its not Poch's approach to things.

Will he be club captain next season, I'm not sure. Will he be starting no 1 next season, I'm not sure either.

Id like to Trippier dropped. His head has fucking gone. Gone. It's hard to watch him and he needs to be put out of his misery. He clearly hasn't the mental strength to dig himself out.

I'd like to see us use Kane the same way England have been - two pacey wide men playing either side of him to utilise his playmaking capabilities.

Lloris
Trippier Toby Vertonghen Rose
Sissoko (Winks or Dier) Dele
Lucas Kane Son
CM3 of Eriksen Sissoko Dele if Winks and Dier are both still unavailable.

It’s a tough one as we are already thin in midfield and now with Dier / Winks probably not available we really are vulnerable there.

Lloris

Sanchez Alderweireld Vertonghen

Trippier Sissoko Skipp Rose

Dele Son

Kane

Considering we have no proper midfield players we are doing pretty well, especially yesterday. I expect to see Poch going for what he thinks is his best team as it gives them a chance to play in the new stadium before the game next week against City. As we have nearly a week between games there is no need to rest players

I think our slump has affected fans brains. Skipp? Really?
i agree - much as i love the homegrowns coming through in his case i see it as a reminder of what an utter bodge weve made of our CM options over the last 2 years as IMO he shouldnt be any near the first team during this season and probably next.

I shouldn't have to say that it's not a like for like change, I thought the lineup was straight forward.

Flank Kane with pace/direct players, give Eriksen three outlets.
