Here we go again :playful:

-------------------Lloris------------------
-------Romero----Dier---Rodon---------
-Paskotsi---Kulusevski--Hojbjerg----Davies--
---------Lucas------------Son------------
------------------Kane--------------------

Subs: Gollini, Sanchez, Reguilon, Sessegnon, Emerson, White, Winks, Bergwijn, Scarlett
(if Bentancur and Skipp are out)

Obv not happening, but give me some fresh blood and new brains in the four in front of the CBs.
Maybe even turn it into this:

-------------------Lloris------------------
--Paskotsi----Romero----Dier---Davies-----
--------------Hojbjerg---White/Winks-------
---------Lucas------Kulu------Son------------
------------------Kane--------------------

I want to see with my own eyes that some of our U21s are worse than what starts week in week out.

I like these ideas, Skipp for Lucas and that might be our best team.
Davies and Paskotsi as defensive oriented WBs can give solidity.
We need to start getting clean sheets again.
Would have Austin as back up keeper.

Leeds or Boro, would like Paskotsi in.
Don't think we need Rodon for this game, but wouldn't mind him playing so he can be ready for Boro.
Hope Skipp makes Boro, would like White or Devine v Leeds alongside Hojbjerg. If PEH needs a rest and Bentancur is out, play Winks, as long as he doesnt play v Boro.

We can surely expect to right the ship a little bit here.

I know everyone is overreacting and feeling like losing to Burnley was a disgrace but in truth it's not the first time we've lost up there, not by any means, and they are very much the kind of team we struggle against. Factor in the conditions and loss of Bentancur at HT and you can see how we lost. This side is good when it's at full strength but as soon as one player drops out (Reguilon & Bentancur in this case) it causes problems.

Anyway, Leeds are open and like to play. They don't have Phillips or Bamford still and Bielsa is on the verge. Assuming they don't sack him before Saturday then it should be more of the same and an opportunity for us to get back to winning ways.

Reguilon back in at LWB will be important. No idea if Bentancur is ok, hopefully it was precautionary with a view to this game. I would put Lucas at RWB, still can't understand why we haven't tried it yet so otherwise it should be the same team again just with Reggie back in there.

It's a game to experiment, maybe Bergwijn or Lucas or both at WB
Need to rotate and then recuperate for Boro

This is a game where they play a similar style to the likes of City, Liverpool and our main strategy will work against this team.

I'd stick with the 11 we started last 2 games with for this one.

I agree, but it’s whether there is some rotation required after three games in one week with the same personnel.

I think that if you're going to play inverted wing backs then you should commit to it on both sides and play Stevie at left wing back. I think if you go for that however you need to compensate possibly with an additional midfielder, though vs teams sitting deep you may get away with the 2. I don't reckon Leeds are the team for it though, our usual game plan should be enough.

If Bentancur and Skipp are not available then, given our other central midfield choices, I don’t personally see any choice than to play a 3 in midfield. Hojbjerg and Winks will offer nothing and we will get beaten again.
