Lamela in the number ten position all day long for me in this one and we need to start using this big squad. There are International players on big contracts. Use them.

Assuming Mason and Lamela are back for Sunderland I'd go with this:

Lennon clearly isn't wanted so can't see point starting. Capoue doesn't deserve. Stambouli needs more game time and probs won't start vs Sunderland. Don't want Kane or Eriksen anywhere near squad.

I presume the game is on Tuesday or Wednesday and we play Sunderland on Saturday at home I dont see any reason not to put out a full strength team. Full strength being any 11 from say 14 or 15 but must include Kane, Ericksen, Lloris,

I'd want to see the team below. Out of our pathetic 4 CM's I think Capoue is potentially the best in terms of incisive passing, so I'd stick him in. I wrestled with Paulinho, but I've seen enough to know that he won't offer what we need so play the young kids in there and see what they can do. Soldado is pretty bad, but I have no desire to see Adebayor out there anymore..much superior player but, he just decides when he can and can't be assd. Let's see Dier at CB as that's his position.
