Holy shit. I've just realised. Does a win against arsenal official mean we're coming ahead of them?
As long as we keep fighting for the title each game - like we've been doing - we'll do it anyway. Don't want this game to be about that; we want the players to be fighting for the title on Sunday, not fighting to end up ahead of scum. That would affect our performance imo.

We need to see them as just an obstacle we have to blast past to get to a much higher goal.

Poch has confirmed Dembele rated 50-50. Koscielny is 60-40 to play for them.

Game comes to soon for Rose. Pipe dream to have expected him to start but was hoping he was on the bench as coming on he'd be great whether we were chasing the game or looking to hold on counter. Basically, he's perfect. Can't wait for him to come back.

shame because all my goon friends reckon they will be destroyed if he's not playing

There's no way on earth even if Dembele is 50/50 he will miss this game

This is the 'Must Win Derby'. A draw is no good to either team. I don't believe we can drop any points in our chase for the title and Arsenal probably need to win every game to make the top 4. So ordinarily, I would think anyone 50/50 would be risked.

Subs including:
Pau, Wimmer, Sissoko, Janssen,

Don't risk Dembele or Rose remember: West Ham and Man Utd still to come in the next week

But we all know Dembele at 50% really isn't great. If he's not at it, he can be a liability as we saw last game, against Palace he was ambling round getting caught on the ball. At it 100%, and with Winks out, I'd definitely have him starting this one. Not so keen on a 50% Dembele though.

I notice Wenger has blinked and gone a 3cb system. I think if we aren't very careful we could come tactically unstuck.

Lloris

Dier--------------TA---------------JV

Trippier------Wanyama-------Dembele/Onomah--------------Davies

Eriksen------------------------------
------------------------Alli

Kane

And before everyone gets all incandescent at me for daring to suggest Onomah, I genuinely would rather have him there and keep the 3421, than chuck all our AM's on from the start, go 4231 and have Wanyama and Dier plodding about against a very lively Arsenal for whom this will be a cup final.

Remember the last time we had a 19yo Bentaleb and Mason in midfield against (a better Arsenal) them and played them off the park.

If Dembele isn't 100% I fully expect Poch to go 4231 with the axis of trundle in CM though.

Onomah over Sissoko, his not that bad? Starting Onomah is the stuff nightmares are made of, especially in such a crucial position. I would rather have a 50% Dembele over both of them tbh.

Look, Dembele is rated 50/50 to start, not at 50% capacity!

Nevertheless, L'Arse are pretty lightweight, and starting Eriksen alongside Wanyama isn't a bad idea.

Starting Onomah against Arsenal for a must win final NLD at the lane when chasing the title. That takes some balls..

Sissoko scores winning goal to guarantee us being above l'Arse in last ever NLD.... now, that's story...

If Dembele is injured:

Lloris
Dier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen
Walker - Wanyama - Davies
Eriksen
All - Kane - Son

Lopez - Trippier - Wimmer - Onomah - Sissoko - N'Koudou - Janssen
Haha it looks a bit silly when written out like that, but I thought we looked really good in the second half against Palace with Eriksen playing that slightest bit deeper. It still allows him to push forward, but from that slightly deeper position he just completely runs everything and has a bit more space in which to do so.

If Dembele's unable to start:

Lloris
TA Dier Verts
Walker Wanyama Eriksen Davies
Alli Son
Big Daddy Kane

Vorm/Lopez, Wimmer, Trippier, Dembele (Onomah if unavailable), Sissoko, GKN, Janssen
If Dembele starts, drop Son to be an impact sub and move Eriksen further forward.

If Dembele isn't fit I imagine its 4-2-3-1 with Wanyama/Dier in midfield to start with. Eriksen in the cm2 would be a ballsy call.
