In the open training session (we only saw the first 15 mins), the team vs villa trained separately to the rest so I fully expect the same team that played against Villa to play against Anderlecht.

Notable exceptions though were both Rose and Walker. However, Trippier and Davies were still training with the second 'reserve' group so might not suggest that Rose and Walker are definitely out of Thursday's game.

Other updates:

- Son trained and seemed very hyper!
- Bentaleb trained
- N'Jie missing
- Townsend missing
- As said before - Rose and Walker missing

Heung-min for Harry for some game time. Seems as though Andros no longer an option.

Considering the state of the league and our current form and position, I honestly believe we can realistically get 3rd with only Man City and the Arse bettering us. Just because of that I would give the league priority on this occasion therefore putting out a weaker team against Anderlecht

Lloris

Trippier Toby Rimmer Davies

Mason Winks Carroll

Son Njie Onomah

Great news on Son!

Expect him to be on the bench but hoping he starts and gets 60-70 odd minutes.

lloris, trippier, alderweireld, wimmer, davies, dier, mason, dembele, onomah, lamela, kane

Give Son 20 minutes at the end with a view to starting him against Arsenal. He's a fit lad and I reckon we'd be better off starting with him in that game.

Under pressure? Against Qarabag?

Our u-18 could get out of this group. Monaco do not even want to qualify.

I don't think we can be as complacent as we hope to be in this group tbh, Qarabag are a good team at home and gave us a few problems in the first leg. I think if we aim to win against Anderlecht and Monaco then we can afford to send a lesser team to Azerbaijan providing we've qualified.

Strong line up very likely as the back up options (Pritchard, Townsend, NJie, Chadli, Bentaleb) are not available. Just want to see more than 20 minutes of Josh and Winks.

We really have missed son's energy, pace and goal threat. If he is indeed back it would give me a lot more confidence going into Sunday. They have a lot of injuries particularly to their pacey players. Good result tomorrow and it will set us right up and they got a real spanking tonight too!

I'd like to see Onomah, Wimmer, Mason start. Other than that i'm not sure.

I also want to see Son get some game time so he is ready for a role in some capacity this weekend. And I want Winks to get some substantial game time.

Never hear him mentioned much these days, but is Tom Carroll fit again?

EDIT: Just watched the training stream, he was involved so presumably fit.
