I think we can all take it easy a little because these two errors never cost us utimately, so the sting is tempered.
Tripper should have his knuckles wrapped for the 1st goal.
Great cross for our second goal, but let himself trying to nutmeg rather than clearing his lines. Maybe he needs to be dropped for one game.
The 2nd penalty was just a lack of experience, Juan should have just run strong against the player and see him off wide.
I do like the way Juan brings the ball out of defence, obviously Jan tops this skill just now, but this kid can learn as he appears to have the ability.
What would be the point of dropping Trippier?[/B] He made a stupid mistake in the heat of the moment, and I am sure he knows it.
Dropping him will just look like he is being punished, which will do his confidence no good at all. Although he can make the odd mistake in defence, he compensates for that IMO by his abilities going forward.
He made mistakes for both goals and spent time berating Winks when he could have been cutting out the ball that led to the second. What would be the point of dropping Trippier? He made a stupid mistake in the heat of the moment, and I am sure he knows it.

He's making too many costly mistakes. It's not about 'punishment', it's about competition for places.

I don't know what he said, but we need to learn to see games out.I was surprised that Poch called out Trippier and was clearly very annoyed with him regarding the first goal. I was also surprised with Lloris' comments about in-game management by the players, which is what we've been lacking. I don't know if he does talk a lot to the defence and passes messages on to the rest of the team, but as a goalkeeper he does get to spend a lot of time observing.
