Just wanted to say well done to Steed for this season. I know a lot of people do not like him, but I think that he has been our player of the season thus far. Hard working, able to go past players, able to set up goals - I am really impressed with him.

People are still unimpressed with the lack of width on the left hand side, but I think that he has played really well - I think even better since Mr Ramos came in. Steed has stepped up to the plate and has proved that he is one of the first names on the teamsheet. I have a new Tottenham favourite!

Steed as impressed me since he arrived full stop, before he came to us I didn't think he was much of a player. he really tries hard and puts more tackles in than I expected.

The guy has been a star this season. He really frustrated me to begin with because of his inability to ever provide any width (which to be fair wasn't entirely his fault as it's not his natural position) but he's really grown into the role this season. Seems to know now when to go inside and when to stick to the wing. If only he had a left back behind him who could get forward and cross then it would be perfect. Him and Bale will be quality together.

Completely agree. Not sure to start with, but he has grown into becoming an important player for us. I dont know whether left midfield is his ideal position, but he is certainly doing well there.

He kept stumbling over for no apparent reason.

Steed was quality at fulham, was once described by Chris Kamara as the most under rated player in the Prem.

Remembering he had a pretty bad injury when he first come to Spurs which kept him out for months and then he had to find his fitness after that, he has been nothing less than first class right from the off.

Top player having an excellent season.

I've been one of his most regular detractors and I must admit that he's raised his game.

Mostly his touch and awareness but maybe 1/4 yard of accelaration - which probably goes for half a dozen players since Ramos came in

Well done to him.

Would still play Bale there when fit of course

I think Bale Left Back with Steed at Left Mid would be fine. Concerns obviously with the defensive side, but I am sure it would work.

Always like the guy. Has to be one of the most creative midfielders we have ! Really has stepped up .. Bless Him ! I know how badly he wanted to score against Fulham ...

It's his work rate which I have been most impressed by. He chases back and always gets a foot in. We needed more of that in the midfield, someone to tuck in and work hard when we are under pressure. Have noticed it more recently since Wendy, midfield seem to work alot harder when we dont have the ball

Malbranque is the tpye of player evry successful team needs, he doesn't play for himself or self glory, he really does play for the team and the cause.

He is a real unsung hero as far as I am concerned, I have never seen him give less than a 100%, never seen him bottle a challenge, never seen him give an inch without a fight. He has the attitude of a winner and the attitude that a winning team needs and no little ability to go with it.

Top man.

Good player, but nothing more. If he is Spurs player of the season, then the season is really bad...

have you tried watching a tottenham game yet? well other than being glued on Berbatov, there are 10 other players out there when he is playing... look out for some of them

He has been our best player this season by some distance.

Like many I have been surprised by the amount of work he puts in and how good a tackler he is.

When we were poor and the rest of our players were wandering about in a daze Steed was getting stuck in and making things happen.

I am not sure that he is a long term starter but he certainly is the kind of player that we should have in and around the first 11.

spoken like someone judges on reputation rather than performances. malbranque is a complete player, and whilst not as talented as the best of them, he has become possibly our most consistent player.
