Thanks for the info, I've only seen a little of lacazette but good to know he has all those key attributes (coming from you -someone who has spent some time watching him properly)
Maybe he has told us he isn't interested in Spurs, he wants a bigger move. The interest from west ham and Everton are most likely going to be laughed off by the player you'd think.
Hoping we are keeping it hush hush and under wraps as to not alert other clubs!
I think we were linked to him around this time last year, but back then, it was thought that our relationship with Lyon wouldn't make a move feasible. Since then, we've done the deal for Njie, so there clearly is a relationship there if Levy and Aulas can come to terms.
The thing about Lacazette is that he not only passes the eye test, but has very good advanced statistics. If you go to Squawka and compare him to Kane, Aguero, Berahino, and Batshuayi, you'll see him and Kane create more chances per 90 (by far) than the other 3 strikers (Lacazette slightly more than Kane), him and Kane play more forward and key passes than the other three (by far), and Lacazette wins more tackles and aerial duels per 90 than all of them by a significant margin. Granted, it's in Ligue 1, so it's not an exact comparison to the Prem, but the two signings of last summer, Payet and Kante, both came from that Ligue and had similarly impressive advanced statistics.
The other thing is, Lacazette, alongside Kane, are a part of an ultra elite group of players in Europe's top 5 leagues that have scored 40 league goals since the beginning of last season. That list in its entirety:
Lewandowski, Kane, Lacazette, Ibrahimovic, Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, Higuain, Neymar, Griezmann, Aguero.
So matching him with Kane would be a serious boost to our already potent attack.
