Well, we don't need no new RBs!

Maybe I am living in a parallel universe but we don't need no fecking midfielders (defensive, attacking or even fecking midfield midfielders) we need fecking strikers.

We dont need an RB, no. We have Walker, Yedlin and KWP. But we need a CB, 2 midfielders(1 AM and 1 CM) and 2 strikers.

Sell: Ade, Kaboul, Capoue, Lennon, Paulinho, Soldado, Chiriches, Townesend, Holtby, Carroll*, Fredericks*
Recall: Pritchard, Velkovic
Buy, 2 strikers, a CB, a CM and an AM

* - I dont really want to sell Carroll and Fredericks, but I think they will be sold and probably should as well due to squad depth at their positions.

11 out, 7 in.

I think Mason will improve. We have Alli and Pritchard coming to the squad. Maybe Veljkovic is a midfielder?
Midfielders we got.

Alli, Pritchard and Velkjovic have precisely zero experience. Mason has one average season under his belt. That isn't enough for a campaign likely to be as long as the present season.

We have no chance I know, but a future centre back pairing of Dier and Stones would be really exciting.

Sadly I think Moreno is out of our reach now after his successful season.

Why Hector Moreno is out of our reach ? He is in his last year in contract. Surely if Poch wants him, he could be bought

Moreno, Dier, Vertonghen would be good trio CBs.,

Much bigger clubs are after him.

After a couple of years of disagreeing with almost all of your posts, I'm starting to believe you live in a parallel universe as well :D

But yes, I agree that we need a striker, in addition to an experienced midfielder. :)

Definitely, I would love to see someone like Carrick, Milner, Cabaye come in to provide some experience in our midfield as our youths have serious potential but you can't put it all on them. If not maybe an "old head" type player like James McCarthy. Any of those would improve us hugely I think and they all give you that bit of creativity meaning we don't rely solely on Eriksen.

I like Mason but I don't believe he is "the answer". We need someone to compliment Bentaleb and enable him to move up the pitch easier as he is going to get better and better.

I like Mason too but I think in some ways he and Bentaleb actually hold each other back. They each need either an experienced partner or a player with a strong defensive mind set to free them up. Bentaleb has done remarkably well but I still think he needs a more experienced player beside him to move to the next level. Cabaye, IMO, would be an awesome signing even though he hasn't set PSG alight. I'd love to see us with 3 in CM (even with an existing player like Dembele or Stambouli in there) but it seems Poch has only 1 plan which is CM2. I'm not at all keen on the Mason Bentaleb pairing and I think it is a big part of our defensive frailties.

I also think a younger player like Kondogbia would have a lot of potential.

alli has two full seasons in league one. pritchard has a full season in league one and the championship. veljkovic has had half a season in the championship. the latter two have both played in the premier league.

Again far to many people are blaming the midfield ie Bentaleb and Mason refusing to acknowledge our weak CB's....you could have the ultimate midfielder in a two man midfield and with our current CB pairing they'd look Sh1t.

Sorry have to disagree with you here. OUR attacking full backs make the CBs look bad cos there are soo many gaps to be exploited. Our MF should fill those gaps but don't but really the problem begins up front. The pressing game isn't being operated by the front 4.
