My girlfriend (Villa fan) actually said, 'Bale what are you doing?' when he pushed AGGER - I thought he was gone.

We need to consider, in all situations, if we reversed things, if it was an opposition player doing something. Had Suarez dived and then jumped up and shoved Kaboul, we'd have been screaming for a red. I'd like to give Bale the benefit of 'riding' the tackle, but it looked a dive to me.

The Skrtel challenge on Bale a bit later was borderline, but again, had it been a Spurs player, would we be saying it was a clear red? I doubt it. Thought Benni's last week was worse.

Fixed , he pushed Johnson too i think the little scamp.

If we are all being honest with ourselves Bale should have seen red too, again I will say fair play to Bellamy for dragging him away.

Fucking ref doesn't know what he is at .

For the push? Nowadays any slap, push, punch to the face is a straight red but I've never seen a player get sent off for a push to the chest.

Though could have got a yellow for the push and a yellow for the dive I guess.

Suarez, like always, deserved to get sent off. When he lined up his volley there's no way he didn't see Parker was going to head it out. The eye oue as well.

Refs need to keep an eye out for his diving, cheating and manipulative ways.

I totally agree with your view on Suarez, I stated before it should have been red but yes Bale could have went off for the dive and the push, even if Agger had of went down like so many players do, holding his face and rollign about he could have convinced the ref. Im glad to see Bale has the passion but I hope this kind of incident is just a one off.

Srktel on Bale was worse but not a red either

are you mad? skrtel came in like a train to clear the ball with studs showing. that is a red these days. bale should know better though. he needs to be more aware and protect himself much better. and the diving is probably not helping his personal safety..

It's a red through excessive force. It actually doesn't matter (according to the rules) if you play the ball if the challenge is excessive.

Bale needs to stop diving completely. Firstly because he is good enough not to need to do that, and secondly because I don't want to support a cheat. Especially when he is a potential world beater.

Didn't watch the game, the gif looks pretty terrible though.

On that alone, I'd say red all day long, I'm pretty sure most referee's and fans would too.

Real time, always more difficult.

What the fuck was saurez doing though?

He was just being himself to be honest, he is a dirty cheat pure & simple and the quicker the Prem is rid of his kind the better.

I think many refs would have given him a red card, to that extent he was lucky. Personally I do not like Suarez, I think that he is a nasty piece of work and would rather he was not in the Premiership. Just my opinion, but he has form for this kind of thing.

You mean the BAE tackle which was almost universally agreed on this very forum that it should have been a red?

This is not a liverpool forum I think you will find we are a bit more even handed in our views of bad tackles on here.

KK would have been calling for a red card had that been the other way around, Suarez is a horrible spiteful player who now has elbowed Scotty gouged his eyes and kicked him he knew what he was doing with all three challenges, combine that with being racist too and I wish he would get what he trully deserves and f**k off back to Uraguay... Scott showed how we like all Spurs players to behave by not retaliating, top top player glad he came to us shame it wasn't three years ago.

Suarez should have got a red card for the kick, I thought it was a red at the time and the replays just show how late the kick was.

Really? How about you let me kick you in the stomach and see how quickly you get up.

Being someone who does get kicked in the stomach a fair amount, i would say his reaction was understandable. Not expecting a hit like that will give extra shock value to the pain. Thank you.

These last couple of months I've lost all respect for Liverpool. Before this season started, even a few rounds in, I actually quite liked them and hoped they'd get 4th instead of Arse/Chelsea. My dad's a 'Pool fan since he was a kid, I even went with him to Anfield for his 50th birthday this fall and had a good time, but for every game I watch them and every time I check out RAWK I like them less and less. The Suarez situation just makes it worse.

This they have become so arrogant in recent years for no reason I hate them the most after Chavs and Goons...

Yes, being kicked full force in the stomach when you are not expecting it does hurt enough to drop most people.

I really do dislike Liverpool more than any other club, as I find the majority of their fans both bitter and arrogant.

Probably not the best post to add this too, but how did Carroll not get booked for telling the ref to f*ck off every time he fouled someone. Team full of pikies.

My Mrs said, "How is he allowed to keep telling the ref to Fuck Off? How can he keep getting away with it?"

Seeing Bale dive was embarrassing, he doesn't need to do that..it pisses me right off when i watch players from other teams do it...when it's one of ours it's worse! :bang:
