He's disagreed with our ITKs for sure but seeing as we have done no business yet I think he would be hard done by to call him inaccurate.

This was the same Ally G who insisted on not committing to whether we were bidding for Davinson Sanchez when all the news about bidding and delays and negotiations was happening.

Maybe. Not committing on a deal he knows nothing about is probably the right stance if his source does not have good or reliable information.

I think the club just automatically tell him "no" on every single transfer target for negotiating purposes.

He definitely leans skeptical but I cannot think of a transfer he said "not happening" that then happened but my memory isn't perfect.

Kinda makes me want Kovacic more if I'm honest but hey......Lobotka is a LOT cheaper so you can see why Levy would do it.

He looks a nice player and would definitely be worth having in the squad.

100% agree. I know it's not a popular opinion and Lobotka does look like a very interesting prospect, but for me I would rather make Kovacic our marquee signing then Martial or Zaha if it had to be only one of the three.

I know Ally G is well liked by many on here - probably because he used to post, but I treat his tweets with a massive pinch of salt.

He got the Sanchez deal completely wrong previously.

He could be right on this but he is definitely not ITK. He is just a freelance journalist who is a Spurs fan and would love to be more important than he is.

I really don’t enjoy his journalism, but I know many people on here do - so don’t want to be overly critical. He is a trier, for sure.

Already, I thought the same, but really this year I think we are making tremendous sales in very difficult situations. We are getting tough in the negotiations and I think that gives me hope

Ha! That’s funny, I remember quite a few moths ago I was bored and trying to find players with Dembele’s ball retention and pass completion skills on whoscored.

This guy was freakishly similar and doing it in a top league. He had something like 91% pass accuracy, which was the third best in La Liga at the time.

I posted this into the transfer thread in Spurs Chat and naturally it wasn’t a name anyone got excited about, or wanted to discuss. He clearly does his job very well though and might not make a lot of sense until you look at his stats.

Only 23 as well. Really not very surprised if we go for him, and think he’d be one of those players that only gets better under Poch.
