If he’s willing to stay, I’d love to keep him and see what Ange can do with him. He was very clearly ill suited to our counter attacking systems.

Useful player in a 433. We'd get peanuts for him abroad. If he wants to knuckle down I'm cool with that.

He can compete with Maddison for the playmaker role. And he's shown a great desire to play in both matches. Ange's style of football is very similar to how Argentina play a short passing game.

I think he's more than capable of playing the more reserved 8 role as well. His ability has never been in doubt for me only his attitude and his fit in the Premier league.

Is he an arsehole? He never seems to stay at any club for more than 18 months and you never hear news from the club about what a great guy he is or how he’s developed a friendship with any of the players. You never even see he laughing with Son and all the players do that.

Barcelona are interested in him aren’t they? If reports are true that we are still after Kessler surely a player swap screams good sense, especially as Kerrie will cover the peh sized hole should he leave

btw I don’t want glc to go as I feel he’s tearing it up right now. But if he does…..

Giovani Lo Celso was bright again tonight and there are reports in Spain saying you've told him you want him to stay this season, is there any truth in that?
I’m here mate you don’t have to go all the way to Spain, just ask the question… I’m really happy with Gio. He’s been really good in training. You can see he’s a quality player and I think the way we play suits him. I’ve enjoyed working with him and I think he’s enjoying himself in terms of the football we want to play and yeah it’s going well.

Don't see why we'd need Kessie tbh. I think GLC is much more useful to us than he'd be.

Keep Le Celso look at the managers before Ange particularly Conte completely disregarded, he's looked the real deal in pre-season. I'm sure if he ended up at Villa we would have been gutted in time as Emery is proving a gem there which is why he wanted him.

This new Spurs is taking shape but god this defence is a worry and no signs of it changing at present. If our defence were Joe Lewis's lawyers jail time beckons.

He needs a chance in a system that’s suits him. Clearly works hard. And is a great player. Just been hamstrung by out last three managers.
