Can't ever recall a time as a Spurs fan where we have experienced so few injuries.

I don't believe the medical staff have changed, so anyone with a bit more knowledge than me care to suggest the reason why?

Is it the double sessions? Poch and his teams training methods? Decreased average age of the squad?

Either way I think it's a factor into us still chasing top 4 despite having played more games than anyone.

Poch was hailed as a slave driver at Soton, double training etc. but no-one really asked what these double sessions involved. It's clear now that much of it has been working on general fitness as i've never in my lifetime seen a Spurs team that can carry on right up until that final whistle like we've been doing, so stamina has improved immensely, but deeper than that only those in the gym will know.

Or perhaps it's that incredible, state of the art training centre finally starting to show it's worth. Dunno.

Sorry, i've... i've not been much help really.

Good point - never thought of the training centre. Maybe the condition of the pitches is restricting the number of injuries. If that's the case it'll pay for itself in more ways than just being a conveyor belt of promising young footballers.

I'm sure there's a science to it all.

Gaaah!

Now you've gone and done it. Just you wait and see.......injury crisis within the week. Odds on.

Schoolboy error of a thread.

Maybe we have short memories but I cannot remember the last time we had a fully fit squad so many times in a season

Amazing really considering the size of squads these days
