At the beginning of the week, Maksim Paskotch, a pioneer of the Breed, shook hands with the Tottenham Academy. The former Flora defender also underwent a weekly test in August and signed a three-year contract with the London team.

From his own instagram it looks like he signed the contract yesterday

Can’t believe Dennis Cirkin and Harvey White weren’t included in the England U18 and U19 squads, respectively...

I get White more than I do Cirkin as there are some good CMs in the u20s. Though I think it wouldn't have been unfair. Seems like they've just kept a normal squad.

Cirkin im genuinely shocked by. Wonder if he's injured or may be looking at Ireland again. Fact is if he goes a season not playing games it will go against him so hopefully he gets a loan

Who was our other youngster that joined Ipswich and scored a hat-trick on his league debut a couple of years ago? Never heard about him again.

Grant Ward. He did well at Ispwich and regular starter for them in the championship until 18/19 where he suffered a serious injury that kept him out for over a year. He joined Blackpool in January and played a few games before the league was suspended. Has started every game this season. He has had a good career so far, a season long injury can potentially be career ending, particularly in the lower leagues, but seems to have responded well and wish him luck this season.

Grant ward

Seeing Arsenal draw Dundalk, Nathan Oduwa plays for them now.
We'll see for how long. Such a waste of talent.

I'll expand on this. Oduwa had a huge amount of talent and when playing for Rangers he appeared a bit naive but showed that he definitely had the ability to be a good professional player. I wish him luck, but he is 24 and has never made more than 30 appearances for any one club and never been in a club for more than a year and a half. He's had a pretty interesting career, been to Slovenia, Denmark and Israel and now in Ireland. But playing in Dundalk is the level just before semi-pro (the top earner in Ireland is on around 40k a year). He is kind of doing a Rohan Ricketts (who also played in Ireland) but at a much younger age.

He could still turn it around, and there is no shame in his career path, for a lot of youth academy graduates it wouldn't be too shabby at all. But, his inability to settle in a club and his ability not translating into success at any level he's really been at so far deeply concerns me.

Cirkin is Irish so unlikely to be picked for England youth
Apparently he is like 3 or 4 different nationalities, which is actually quite common for us. I guess that comes with having a club based in one of the most multicultural areas in the world. But he has been capped at English youth level.

EDIT: he is also Latvian
