I'd swap Bale and Son. I think Son is right footed even though he plays on the left but Bale is naturally left footed and I think it would be better to get Bale playing 100% in his favoured position. He took Spurs to the CL in that position and I will never forget him repeatedly skinning Maicon who was one of the best RB at the time
Ah yes but Lucas, who took us to the CL final doesn't even start??? Not sure what point I'm making here but it all smells of piss.

Here's the big question:

With Bale and Reguilon coming in today AND potentially a CB (Ruben Diaz? Monster?) and a 2nd striker -- some will need to go in the other direction to finance this spending spree.

In my view, we must NOT sell Aurier this year -- we need a second RB to rotate. And I would hate to sell Lamela -- he brings bite and 100 percent effort every game and is happy in his role. And while Dele has been a huge disappointment the past two years, I think bringing in these new guys is gonna light a fire under him. Do not sell.

But many will disagree with these ideas. Keeping in mind that only a few of the following will bring in a big payday, who would YOU sell?

Dele
Aurier
Winks
Moura
Lamela
Sessengon
Rose
Foyth
CCV
Gedson (return early)
Jack Clarke
OTHER?

Rose
Moura
CCV
Clarke
Gedson
Foyth

Not all of those are because I don't rate them but because I don't think Mourinho will play them. Moura needs to be moved on while stock is still high though.

He should start because he played a crucial role in one game?

I have said time and again this man is making the team off the back of one game namely the Ajax semi final all in the hope that he can repeat the heroics . Well for me before and after that game he has not warranted a start in the first team .
The ultimate for me was the Everton game Dele lost the ball three times and has got in the neck from all and sundry whereas Moura misplaced 21 passes ( more than any player in the top five european leagues ) and he gets a free pass I wish someone can explain WHY .?

Also need a DM, not convinced with Hojbjerg plus he won't be able to play every game and Sissoko isn't good enough. Doherty plays very advanced, we need some quick DM to watch out for space behind him. Sissoko has pace but lacks in skill and Hojbjerg is too slow. But if we "only" get another CB and CF it will be a good window.
I thought Hojberg looked decent as the DM yesterday, not running around the pitch chasing the ball and shadows like the previous turn outs. Think he can do a good job there.

I think Hojbjerg will be a good DM for us, he's not the sit back and defend type people are used to. He presses and can pass but also defend. Sissoko is good at winning the ball back, covering the RB area and breaking up counter-attacks. He's also a leader in the clubhouse which makes him more valuable. I think in MF we are good, especially if Ndombele continues to play well and becomes the play maker we are missing.

A starting CB to replace Dier/Sanchez to play along with Toby would be ideal. Along with a backup ST for Kane.

No, i wasn't making that point. Its a good thing we will have a few players on the bench who will all deserve game time and can all change games.
