I detest him but I’d swap Poch for Klopp in a heartbeat.

I don't think it's Klopp that's the difference. It's the owner's who have put in the funds to build the squad depth.

We've been close since the Leicester title winning season. What was needed is that extra depth but quality additions. We got it right with Davinson Sanchez but stopped short there. GKN & Llorente were not the required level of quality at the time.

7 games played in the last 21 days with no dembele, wanyama, dier (for 5).
And midfield options of Winks, Sissoko and Skipp.
Tired of the inane comments on these match threads after a loss (but appreciate the balanced thoughts from many others).

We have been ridiculously good of late, bound to slip up eventually so I’m not going to wet the bed over a poor result to a decent Wolves side

If you seriously thought we could win the league over the money bags sides then you needed a reality check and hopefully this is it

Disagree.. it's only 20 games played. Still 18 more. You cant give in this early. Imagine if the team had such a weak mindset.

I don’t buy the fatigue thing. Yes it played a sort second half but what was the excuse first half? It wasn’t a fatigue thing it was a lack of passing. Our touches and passing was off completely. Any forward passes we made were abysmal.

.

You seem not to understand how fatigue affects motor skills. It does. It leads to things like... misplaced passes.

Or perhaps your'e right and this team which somehow qualified for the last 16 of the CL against all odds is mentally weak.

Suspect that if the 160 million pound net difference in spending between the two clubs over the past 5 years + far higher salaries being paid to players has something to do with it but you be you

Alli hasn’t played since Everton and was the worst played on the pitch.

It was a mental thing. We were never at the races and we looked absolutely stumped all game. We lacked so much intensity we invited wolves to grow into the game and they realised hold on there is something for us here.

We seem to lack the mental strength to be champions and win trophies.
Thought son was extremely wasteful

Seen a few shoulder the blame in here. I'll be honest my record at Wembley is shocking. Haven't seen us win, barely a draw either just a one. I'll take this lads, sorry! Never going again!

You look at Liverpool and in Robertson, Wijnaldum and Shaqiri they have three players bought from relegated clubs who could have enhanced our squad for the long and short term. Shows the importance of scouting. Throw in Salah who came in on the cheap and had turned in a couple of good performances against us in Europe.

We don't need to spend lavishly, we need to spend wisely.

Think it's more the quality of the depth rather than the quantity though. For various reasons, none of those three absent midfield players are good enough anymore.

We could do with not having to use GKN and Llorente as subs too.

People saying we are knackered. What a bs excuse for players not able to hit easy 5 yard passes. That 2nd half was a shitshow and deserves no excuses.
"A shit show". Thanks, I couldn't find the right term to describe the second half but this works perfectly.

It might have made a difference to be fair!

Harry Kane & Eriksen might well make all the difference though? Imagine Poch never had them.

Not happening mate but good of you to try and cheer the thread up for that I applaud you.
Cheers dude, but I was actually hoping for a bit of reinforcement on our chances of winning the CL as I've got a precarious tenner on us for an outright win at 66-1. ;)

Then why didn't we seeing as we have had more scouts than Jimmy saville did.

Fuck me mate that's brave I never put money down on us for anything simply because I don't see us winning anything but again well done to you but don't think the bet will come home.

That's not called scouting, that's called cash.
