Danny Rose should not have been near the training ground in the last 18 months.

I don’t care what he’s done for us in the past, his continued presence cannot be overlooked when analysing our dismal current mentality.

Seems like he was correct all along.

It seems in today's world falsehood and fakery is the accepted norm.

Danny Rose seemingly was ostracized from the group for telling Jose that players were playing like shit, training like shit and didn’t give a shit. I’m starting to feel he should have been kept around the group more!

Having a go at the fans who turned up to support the club we all love isn’t the one, chief

I love the club too but I know when I being taken for a ride imo we should take a short term hit on paying for tickets, merchandise and such for long term benefits for the club. The owners need to know that we as supporters are not here to pay whatever they think they can get away with charging.
£60 a ticket in a one off game after COVID, after ESL, after the shit show of a season, after our best and very loyal player giving up hope and now wants to leave. Enough is a enough we as fans have to do something for change and the only thing ENIC understand is money apparently because they certainly don’t give a shit about the fans

Understandable, but with a new manager and 4 or 5 different faces in that team I’m sure there will be improvement, even though we’ll still be way off where we want to be.

Kane is likely to go which is a shame, but it helps to fund new signings elsewhere in the team. Also, the reaction from fans tonight may just have helped the likes of Dele, Dier, Winks to decide that they might be happier fucking off somewhere where they’re wanted, rather than trying to skate by on their big contracts at a club that’s too big for them.
Wish this would stop being said, we don’t spend money that well. Look at the shit show that was the Bale money purchases.Eriksen was pretty good the rest average to complete shit.

I think all this just proves that poch overachieved and our players aren't as good as they think they are. No fight, no unity no teamwork. The cliques in the team need to be gotten rid of. starting with the triumvirate of winks dele and dier.
Poch had Dembele, Eriksen, Walker, Rose and Vertonghen in their prime, plus players like Wanyama who while less skilled, would give their all. He recognised when they were getting past their best and a refresh was needed. Levy didn't back him up. (The importance of Dembele in our good times was immense)

We didn't learn much new. This squad is FUBAR.

What we need is a fire sale and start fresh with new players and new management. There are no more than three I'd keep as things stand now - in fact I'd struggle to name one more than Hugo.

Everybody else can go.

I think it shows Pochettino was a heck of a manager but our dumb f*** of a chairman sacked him. Years of chopping and changing managers you would have thought Levy might learn something, but no he decides he wants Mourinho and look at the clusterf*** that things are now.

This lap of honour thing.

Do we cut Dier some slack, seeing as it didn't really go too swimmingly the last time he got involved with the supporters. :cautious:
Last time he walked into them when he shouldn’t have. This time he walked away from them when shouldn’t have. He keeps going the wrong bloody way!

Mason and one or two of tonight's clowns will come and say "one game left, we must treat it like a cup final and finish strong"
It's at that point where my Samsung Note 10+ goes for a Burton.

Don’t understand the need to bash fans that went tonight. I went because I’ve missed watching my club for 12 months through a pretty difficult time for everyone. We all want the best for the club and some made their opinions clear in the stands, I just hope people listen as the stands did not feel like they used to. Need some passion & direction back into the club.

If it was planned for the players to come and greet the fans at the end of the game and they didn't do it, they all need to be sold. Even if it was some bureaucrat's decision, the players should have spoken up. This is an absolute disgrace.

Edit: sounds like a few of them came out, thanks @Spurs1961. Sell those that didn't bother to come out.

This was in the pre-match email we received, said it would the traditional appreciation from the team and coaching staff. It didn’t happen, don’t let these tweets fool you, fans were told over the PA to leave for half an hour. Absolutely disgraceful.

If I had any reservation about renewing my season ticket, tonight confirmed it.

Couldn't give a fuck. Won't be wasting my time or money supporting the majority of these players. So many better things to spend my money on which will give me more enjoyment.

I'll always be a Spurs fan, I can't switch off, but I can't support a squad that has the likes of Alli, Winks and Dier in it.

It's been going on for far too long, they are well passed their expiry date.

The fact that Levy continually sacks the manager instead of doing what needs to be done and selling those players, is really what winds me up the most.

Just get rid, whatever it takes. Throw Doherty and Sissoko out with them too. Lamela and Moura can go. Just raised as much money as possible and we build again. A new manager will not resolve this on his own.

Sign some hungry championship players, I hoenstly have never felt as disconnected as I feel to Spurs right now. I genuinely can't stand a good number of them.

I thought that previously but after seeing that today I don’t think it’s right. We need a huge clear out. It’s going to take 2/3 years minimum to get us back to being a good side.

For me the one thing Mourinho still had going for him towards the end was that he seemed to understand exactly the right players to bomb out of the squad. However, with an unfamiliar new coach potentially willing to give them a chance I'm terrified now that we'll be heading into next season with Winks, Dele and Dier (I think Jose had figured out the latter by the end) still seeing regular game time.

You can include Sissoko, but first priority for me this Summer would be getting shot of Dier and Winks. I'd say the same of Dele, though I do still hold some meagre hope that he maybe revived under the right manager (certainly shouldn't be going into next season as a starter, mind you).

Unfortunately I'm doubtful that Levy will be willing to take the loss. At this point we'd be lucky to get half of what the three aforementioned were worth 18 months ago. Nonetheless, if I were him I'd be moving hell and highwater to get rid.

Spot on. This was my biggest fear about sacking Jose. Now we have another season of a new manager wanting to give them all a chance, and we know how it goes.

I honestly see a few years of pain before we manage to rid ourselves of these players.
