Enjoyed that. Sharpness, intensity, forward thinking. Yes against a pretty limited side, but the intent is there. No sign of the 'sit back and hit them on the break' of the Mourinho years. Just a simple desire to get at them and score as many as we can.

Roll on Watford. COYS!

Like Lamela, I like him whenever he plays. I don't understand why others can't see what he could be.

You can see what a class player he is. Injuries, managers and tactics aside, I've always appreciated him. Hopefully Nuno let's him loose. Gazza-esque.
Lo Celso is a baller and will come good, he has the right attitude and he looks like he plays like a Spurs player.
Always thought of the 2 that he would be the one to come good over lazyNdombele.

I'm feeling some really good vibes about Nuno. It feels like the jol or even poch years. There's a positivity about the club and actually our squad isn't as bad as some people have made out.

The new signings look good. I think Gil is going to be a real fans favourite.

We're not conceding goals but still winning games and producing some decent football. Nuno also seems to have a few different ways of playing. But similar to early poch, the foundation is a tight defense.

I think that if we can bring another couple in that we could have a really good season.
love this mate and we are playing like nuno said we would to be fair, we are 'solid' but also 'intense' and are making the fans 'proud'.
A lot to like right now, really enjoying supporting the team again.

Jose was so so so toxic.

Yeah Dele has been working hard but I still reckon a fully fit and confident Lo Celso should be pushing hard to start in league.

I think Nuno will end up trying with Alli and Lo Celso as the 8’s and either Skipp/Hojbjerg as the holding mid, in a 4-3-3. Both Gio and Alli are industrious enough.

Gil isn’t going to be sitting on the sidelines long in the league either.

Despite Winks having nowhere near the ability that Ndombele has I'm having this Winks in the team over him every single day of the week, he said that he wants to give Nuno a headache which means he wants to push for the first team and that's fine by me. I'd rather have that attitude than the piss poor attitude that Ndombele has shown and I'd rather Winks stayed at the club over Ndombele.

This should be the blueprint from now on, no more fucking passengers in this team - last season we had too many, we need to be a team and pull together if we're gonna move forward.

Such a promising couple of weeks, great to see every one warming to our Nuno - I have to say even the beard is starting to look good;)

Think you've nailed it with the belief thing, re Sessegnon.

The lad looks so lacking in confidence. I'm hoping it's just one of those cases where he just needs one to go in off has ass or something & then perk him up a bit.

it's not about belief or confidence, he just doesn't have it. look at the difference between him and gil, they're levels apart.

as an attacker the only things sessegnon has ever had is good timing and composure in front of goal, on the ball however he's very limited. he might make it as a lb with a lot of work, whether we can give him the time and opportunities needed though i don't know.

I didnt know what he does well to be honest but tonight I finally can see it. I like that he’s busy, I like that he has the pass and I like that he can get rough. His positioning tonight was spot on. Also has skill to spare and an evil shot. Has he been managed that badly? I guess I got blinded by the price tag and thought he’s something he’s not. I’m all for it though. I loved Lamela. And I’m very willing to love Gianni.

If u read my scout report on Cuti Romero, I said it that he loves to go forward to help the attack. BUT he is not clumsy like David Luiz. Today he went forward a lot because he was the RCB in 3-4-3. He saw that Pacos parked the bus so he just decided to help the attack.

In Argentina they mostly played 4-3-3. He did NOT go forward that often. Against Brazil in the final of Copa America, he was just strictly sitting back and defend. Now I hope he will start on Sunday.

I wish I knew how to bold your last paragraph. Dead on. No more passengers. As a fan base we’ve blamed everyone and lost sight of the players not having the urge to be better for whatever reason. Pull in the same direction and you can do amazing things.

Triffic. Job done.

I wonder who we’ll get in the group stage? A look at the list suggests some randoms and some famous names (Roma, Feyenoord)

Some old foes in there with Gent and Basel. Would love to get Union Berlin in the group stage as the away day will be bang on

I was watching the match, must have fell asleep as I seen Winks do a nice tackle then follow it up with a nice forward pass, resulting in a goal. Anyway enough about my crazy dreams, I’ll read through and see how we/he did…

Get the feeling that we are above it but not at all. It’s Europe no matter which way you swing it. Would love to win it using the squad. I’m in all the way.
