Richarlison hat trick and a 5-0 win for us in the second half. I can’t wait to revisit this prediction when we’ve lost 3-2 😂

Richarlison has grown into this game tremendously.

Still need to be finishing more of his chances, but he's putting in a lot of effort defensively and closing down also which is helping us get the ball right back.

Lets hope we don't drop off this second half and Newcastle stay looking fucked.

I think as this team grows we will blow a lot of teams away but have the odd bad loss due to the space we give opposition at times.

BUT that will be fine because that is normally the last weakness you need to overcome to win teams and by then Ange will have fully ingrained the football into the players so it will be a case of tweaking it like Klopp did at Liverpool.

But let's get that third today first

Bissouma and Sarr compliment eachother so well. We are going to miss them a lot!
Kulusevski is made for the central role, he is much more effective and such a hard worker. Sonny just needs to keep going at Trippier, he has him on toast.

Missed Sarr's energy and composure in midfield these past few games.

Good performance from the lads. Let's keep it up in the second half.

One of Richys best halves for us, worked hard, some good passing and link up, tracked back and won the ball a few times, got his goal and nearly had two. Good on him. 💪

He presses really well to.

This got to be the team until Madders back.

Absolutely stellar first half from the boys. Sarr, Son, Richarlison, Udogie the standouts among a team of good performers.

Excellent performance by Son, still not entirely convinced by Richarlison or Kulu's final ball. Would possibly consider GLC for Kulu at half time, GLC seems more of a goal threat at the moment.

Great to have Sarr back, real step up from PEH or Skipp

Newcastle are struggling to cover ground in both directions. I’d expect many more chances for us to put them to the sword second half.

Need to keep Johnston on for the second half and not take him off 60/70 minutes as I feel he and son will benefit from the spaces that will come.

We've been brilliant this half. West Ham came to sit back and counter, Newcastle have not and we've played through those spaces. All the same, the intensity to go forwards at every opportunity has been the big difference. We've not slowed things down once and Newcastle aren't getting organised. There was a five minute period there where their defence and midfield almost looked resigned.
