Newcastle are 100% in with a massive chance of getting top 4. They’ll probably bring in Maddison in January and maybe a lot more with the chance of CL. Man Utd improving a lot recently. Chelsea and Liverpool will probably invest in January with how competitive it is. Right now we’re on a downward trajectory, we need massive recruitment in January or no chance we’re getting top 4.

It’s once again time to remember that we’re not winning shit with Sanchez, Dier, Emerson, Moura and Davies in the squad while Kuluseveki, Richarlison, Hojbjerg and Romero are injured.

We’re just not.

We need at least another two transfer windows to really sort the squad out. Changing manager is a ridiculous suggestion.

Only caveat I can give is this was the first game we were missing 4 key players who conte trusts and wouldn't have any hesitation I'm starting any match

Let’s be honest. It’s the manager. Stubborn selections, refusal to try new ideas. Sitting deep and allowing the other team all the possession
All our managers seem to be very inflexible and very reluctant to change things around when the game is not going our way.
They also have a habit of sticking with the same players regardless of their performances!

Hard to take too many positives from that, many of the same issues plaguing us all season on show again, but Bissouma and Bentancour i thought were excellent 2nd half, pity about the rest…

Newcastle didn’t beat us today. We beat us. You can’t have your captain gift a team two goals. Not only that but that back 5 today filled me with no confidence.

Not sure where we go from here, no Richarlison or Kulu limits what we can do. Shame the world cup break isn’t now.
Richarlison has not pulled up any trees so far in his spurs career but Kuku has

We can't keep doing this. At this time I feel we should trust the process I'm confident conte will get rid of the rot.

We can definitely improve on players.
Not if he makes utterly stupid substitutions.

Doc and emerson both on the pitch at the same time when we want to win a game

Taking off lenglet for davies, an utterly useless substitution when we want to win a game.

We have gil on the bench who created so much havoc against Frankfurt but nooooo....he's too young and inexperienced

Unfortunately we have players that can gift teams goals at any time and it's nearly our whole back line. Emerson, Sanchez, Hugo, Dier, Davies, Sess shouldn't be starting games for us. Hugo is done after this season, i'd even look for his replacement in Jan. Top CB has to be a priority in Jan to get rid of Dier. He is a joke.

Other than Romero & Perisic (Who ain't been too great himself) our defends are bottom half players that wouldn't look out of place in those teams.

Continue to play these crap players will always result in Loses. Conte brought in Emerson today after his last game in the prem resulted in a red card and a Loss. Another loss straight away. He was lucky that he never gave away a couple of pens.

We just relying on individual brilliance to win games. We need that window to come quickly and Conte needs 100 mil at the very least.

The frustrating part is that we actually got the early goal and did absolutely nothing with that momentum.

I think the game was there to be won today from the start, undone by a unfortunate decision and a terrible reaction from our poor defenders.

You HAVE to do more once you get that one back at home though, that was damning.
Totally agree. But this system is so suffocating for our players. It's all so fragile that they cannot convert their desire to win into actual results. Noone appears to be playing to their strengths at all

Can't waste chances and get positive results with this team, there's just too many mistakes waiting to happen. It's like a lucky dip of who's fuck up is gonna cost us a goal this week.
Not enough quality, creativity or speed either. Barely looked like equalizing in the final half hour.
