Really enjoyed that after scary first 10 mins
Tanganga great
Moura also
Lots of effort
So pleased Mourinho is gone
Even Sanchez has been good after one awful miskick
Dele OK only
Bergwijn best he has been for while

The addition of Lautaro martinez to the counter attacks we’ve been seeing would be so dangerous

A few noticable things....

We've obviously been told to be more aggressive higher up the pitch. Son actually competing for headers(every time) something I've never seen from him before. Our set piece marking has clearly been worked on, some marking zonally and then others picking up the threats.

I can't criticise anyone from that first half.

Top effort. Quality a bit lacking to finish a good counter, wonder if we see Gil for Bergwijn at some point.
Give it a go guys, looks fine so far (First 10 aside)

I'm enjoying the new Lucas. Our very own Traore / Saint Maximim.

Would be interested to see Gil for Berg and Lo Celso for Dele.

Good half. We look competitive and dangerous on the break. It just needs a little more composure for the final ball/play.

I noticed a very different set-up in team shape when City build from the back. Bergwijn, Son, and Moura are lined up across the half way line no more than the centre circle in width. Clearly Nuno has made it clear that City do not build vertically through the middle. Their out ball is to be to the touchline. This has been generally pretty effective, forcing them wide early in an attack and depriving their forward players of close support.

Tanganga needs to be a little careful now as he is one foul, any foul, from a yellow, and potentially an ankle tap and a shirt pull from a red. Grealish and Sterling will be looking for that early in the 2nd half. (Fair play to the ref, he's done all he could to keep Tanganga out of the book).

All in all, there's nothing in that half giving me kittens.

I like the team and enjoy the match tbf.
Of course city looks more likely to score but we are not that bad and I can see us getting something there.

I thought that was a good first half, City will always dominate possession and create chances and if they had Kane he probably would have taken 1 or 2 of them. But we have had opportunities ourselves.

It feels different from Jose, we don't seem to defending on our 18 yard line and just hitting long balls

It's obvious Alli doesn't have a future here.

He's miles away from the level we need nowadays.

I have been critical for many years but I think he doing alright defensively today, working and keeping his position.

Think we’ve done really well there.

Tanganga, Skipp and Lucas looking really good. I’m thinking when the ref called Lloris over re Tanganga, Lloris probably just said “keep doing what you’re doing Japhet”.

Lucas is so effective when he can turn and drive at people, it creates panic. Need that more consistently from him.

Shame that Son has turned back twice, especially the second time when I think he was in.

I imagine City will come out in the second half much like they did the first, we need to weather that storm and then it will come down to their oil rich bench.

Out of interest, fri you heard a few chants toward Harry - were they positive ones or negative? Couldn’t make them out clearly.

It's only one half but Davinson has been written off by far too many think we should give him one more season personally.
He needs to play with confidence. He's already so much different from last season. I wouldn't trade him for Kounde TBH.

We really should really be doing one of our own for Japhet. Boys from hackney aswell. Pure Tottenham.
Btw I'd like to thank desperado for their whisky sour beer. Very tasty
