We'll miss Toby's passing, our midfield will be skipped and Dier and Sanchez are top 10 worst passers in the league. It will be very hard to bring the ball to attackers and wingers. Maybe Son dribbles past everyone and scores again.

Thought I was a very informed Spurs fan but could not work out who was Bryan on our bench!
Of course it’s Gil so he is available
Glad Kane is not playing or on bench
i could never dislike him after all he has done for us but it would be toxic and humiliating to include him today

‪Probably less inspiring than any of the teams we put out last year. No Kane, Bale, Toby, N’Dombele or Lamela. Not a single signing in the starting 11. Same old spurs.‬

Gonna have to take the rough with the smooth this year I think. Its been said a lot but this season more than any other really is one of transition.

Lets be honest, Dier would have been long gone had he not been English
If you breakdown Dier, you see a two footed footballer who is comfortable with the ball, decent in the air, not afraid to put his body in to harm's way and decent pace yet is a fucking disaster waiting to happen.

He really does baffle the mind.

Exactly and that isnt looking to be negative. Just an honest appraisal of where we currently are

Let's be honest, our eleven today is a mess. With some luck and a lot of work we could sneak it, like we have vs that lot several times.

But we do have some exciting new signings and more irons in the fire so that is not an entirely fair conclusion.

Kane would normally tweet wishing the boys luck wouldn’t he when he’s missed games before. Be interesting to see if he does today...

Yeah we've signed a couple players but it is a little disheartening that we start the season with the same bunch
In fact much weaker without Kane, bale, Lamela, ndombele, Toby

That team is about as mediocre as I've seen from spurs in a long time. Outside of Hugo, PEH and Son none of the others really fill me with confidence.
