Kulu needs to start imposing himself more on the midfield if he’s playing 10

The thing is he’s so different to Maddison who in this type of game would be dropping deep and slowing the game down and playing more like a deep lying playmaker but Kulu is a box to box type n.o8 good at running into space etc but this isn’t a good game for him to play as an 8 especially next to PEH who’s also not great under intense pressure.

We just need to pass through city and let Kulu drive at them, that’s his strength.
