Two average full backs forming a centre back partnership away to City. What could possibly go wrong?

Lo Celso is such a step down from Maddison. Just drifts through the game, with a few touches here and there but hardly anything of note in attack or defense.

Hmm sorry but that is just not good enough from Gil, just play a simple ball backwards, you can’t have a player at this level giving the ball back to a team like City so often.

10 shots for City… nearly as many times as Gil has been felled by the wind

Certainly isn’t imposing himself in the middle as much as Maddison usually does but then again this is a hard game to judge Lo Celso on.

yep and like with Doku’s chance… he gave the ball away and didn’t bother tracking back

Not playing in the same position so not a fair comparison
