We need two CBs in the summer. We need shot of Dier and Sanchez, and while Rodon is talented he has a lot to learn before he's ready for matches such as this.

Yet this is Jose's fault??

We clearly came at them in the first 15 mins, had the goal disallowed and missed a chance then started to get a bit deeper. Kane gets a knock, we drop even deeper. We defend well until we switch off.

Second half starts with Dier giving the ball back to them twice from dangerous areas and from there we have to come out and take the game to them when we don't have the set up for it.

We have Alli, Bale, Vinicus on the bench but none of them can control a game or effect it from deep. So we are forced to use Winks, who is timid, gets overowered and also not good enough to turn a game like this, and Lamela who has his moments but again isn't a gamechanger.

Back to our defence who are a real average bunch. Dier has never been a top level CB, he always loses concentration and can't play in a high line. Sanchez is quick but also loses his head, gets bullied sometimes and is slow to close down, Davies is average, Toby is regressing and doesn't have the pace for a high line.

So next time someome questions why we play defensive this is why.

They don’t look like they know what to do. We only have one way to play and two goals down it won’t work. We really totally on not conceding and being able to conjure a goal from the dynamic duo.

I agree to a certain extent but they're professionals they shouldn't need specific instructions to offer a teammate an option, especially when your losing.

What was Jose waiting for? I've seen a lot of shit spurs squads in my time but being 2 goals down at home and playing so passively isn't acceptable. Should have thrown on the attackers sooner.
