Im not disagreeing lol, just saying if we had gone in 1-0 at half time with Kane being fit maybe things would be different, But knowing us we would have probably fucked it up anyway. Jose is clueless when we go a goal down
He's clueless when we're up a goal too.

Nothing to see here.

The bias and corruption is so obvious. Can they just admit it? Is OK, we can't do anything anyway.

watched it later - just awful. first half was even and had we got the first goal it had might have been 3-1 us. But after their goal it was poor.

Eveything said, the answer is getting back to a normal 4 4 2 . Lose the defensive 7 and 3 forwards. I feel the players are struggling.. Son is one of the best forwards in the PL and he's wasted with long balls. The middle 2 are always outnumbered, cant Jose see that?. teams just play around them. Defensively we need a higher line. These poor perfornace must come down to Jose, he sets them up. im not for sacking just changes . Other teams have sussed us out- Jose is too stubborn for change hes wrong and needs to look at himself. Football is a simple game with simple ideas, hes too pig headed and complicated.

Am I wrong but it looked like Lloris was partially - or even fully - at fault for all 3 goals.

Also I thought Joses responses were clear and fair. We lost the games because of individual cock ups not because they ripped us apart
Thats all right then, at least we know.

If players are struggerling then change the game plan/formation. How many games will we play with the same outcome. . Winks would work in a 4 for example.

Might as well of waved the white flag by bringing Winks and Lamela on at half time.
Disagree, its not down to individuals its down to Jose and how he wants us to play.. the balance is all wrong, hes not giving players a chance.

Same old problems same old spurs I am coming to terms with the fact that I will never see this club win the league.
This team has been on a bad run since early December barely muster a win, our home form is a joke can't beat the likes of Newcastle, west ham or Fulham two defeats as well it is hardly a fortress.
We are now seeing clubs like west ham push on and become a decent side whilst we just flounder with poor signings like bale, bergwin and a defence that can no longer keep a clean sheet

Because it would be familiar as it would be for other players. Its all too complicated..Football is a team game and players looknout for each other, at the moment we seem to be individuals who are not good enough. Winks is not that bad. Kane has had terrible games latly but no one question this.

Football behind closed doors is at a notch lower level than the competitive level when supporters are in the ground. Any team that gives it a little more will be successful. We need to find the intensity we showed at the start of the season. I feel a change in game plan could spark this . We cant carry on the same, the surpise factor has gone so we need to step it up.

Feel so disappointed after that lacklustre display. I can handle the defeats when we've at least had a 'proper' go. But time after time we seem to turn out these performances in games where a result will put us right in the mix.

It's almost a given, Spurs fail to capitalise on situations presented through other teams results.

Yes, all teams win and lose, but we do seem very adept at crumbling in crucial games throughout a season.

Of course I note we've had wins against some of the top teams this season, but that does not, nor should not, allow a pass to dish up the shite we witnessed last night.

The best football we played last night was when we actually had a go. A few turns from Ndombele and pass, we were in. They were there to be got at, there was gaps to be exploited once we broke the lines, and committed a few forward. But no, whether through instruction, or lack of bravery, we quickly reverted to type.

Yes I know Liverpool usually have high possession in matches, press from the front. Meaning at times we'll be pegged back.

But let's not kid ourselves, our counter attack style of football has to see us soak up the attacking pressure, something that is so apparently obvious we cannot do. Our attack is pretty damn decent, but our defence is average. So why the feck set up to invite sustained pressure. Why pick the weakest area of the team to no doubt be the most involved in a game.

Like I say, losses come and go, I can handle them. But when factoring in the missed opportunities to actually take advantage of situations, and the manner in which these losses occur, it's no wonder so many get so pissed off with witnessing this time and time again.

Tbh, when a defence plays as deep as ours. The levels of concentration needed for constantly chasing the ball is ridiculous.

no player is 100% every game.

fuck me. you really buying into this shit?

individual errors cost us? unless a goal is a 50 yard screamer there will always be an element of defensive error in the lead-up and even then you could find an individual error in that.

sitting back and allowing your team to constantly be faced with opportunities to make errors is the ERROR itself

No

Sissoko was ambling around for Newcastle before we signed him.
Winks has never been a top 6 starter
Lo Celso has the ability but can't stay fit

Villa - Grealish, McGinn, Luiz - would all make our first 11.
Everton - Allan, James, Gomes, Doucoure - most would make our first 11.
West Ham - Souchek, Rice - would certainly be in with a shout.
Sheff Utd - Berge - better than both Winks/Sissoko
Palace - Eze, would get in our team
Fulham - Anguissa, would bully Winks.

The midfield is arguably the engine of the team, it can dictate, it can wrestle back control, it can dominate and it can manipulate the ball - Other than Ndombele, can anyone really see our midfield being able to do that?

Agree but how confident are you that when Lo Celso comes back the manager will play him in there with Ndombele. Maybe if he puts one in the three up top, but both in midfield without 3 CBs, can’t see it and he hasn’t shown in his time here that he looks like doing that. I would have more sympathy with him if he looked like he priorities ball retention, and ability to play through the pitch but he seems more focused on players work without the ball.

Slept over it and still pissed off over this big game and the weird decisions.

- we have won several points against big clubs with a 4-2-3-1 set up.
- why dont play Sissoko in one of the few games you could use him helping the RB to control Robertson and Mane?
- why play young Rodon who has strenghts in the air but we faced a team that does not play high balls
- why dont we play the more experienced Toby esp when we go for long balls towards the strikers?
- Doherty as a LB?
- taking off Aurier instead of Doherty
- Winks is not and never was a big game player

....

I really want Jose to succeed but that was a shit show by him and the players bar Pierre. We need a reaction now.
