Werner gave Williams are torrid evening.

Much better from him today. Got in behind the defence and got a number of useful crosses in.

Still as a team we can be more aggressive and confident in our shooting, but much improved 2nd half. Shout out to Hojbjergs early effort too.

Ange would have learnt a lot about his players today. The lack of control was concerning. It's a bit worrying that PEH has become a CM option again in this team. Looks like we may need to spend...quite a lot.
Biss was pedestrian I thought for their goal.

A few at fault for that. Udogie's lack of tracking left an open man.

Bissouma played well against West Ham, disappointed to see him drop more and more today. It was right call to sub him.

Villa tend to turn up against the likes of Man City and Arse, I can’t say the same for us. I don’t think they‘re better team than us or have more quality than us but I feel they have a better mentality.
You say that but they played at home against us in their biggest game in years and we battered them.

Wonder what PEH was crying about to Mickey, didn't look to happy with him. But Micky is such a cool dude and just walked away lol.
Pierre looked in a bit of grumpy mood tonight lol.
Other way round, he was apologising for the pass in the box that was short for him and let the forest player in. Seemed to be saying he didn't hear a call or something.

He’s been shite since the Luton away game where he got ridiculously sent off . Bentancar still our best 6 or 8 has to be given a run now !

even lo celso ahead of Maddison

the whole team was at fault. no pressure at the front, midfield nowhere to be seen, Udogie not tracking a run on a basic ass cut for a WB to defend, and the whole backline a tick late on the rotation.

You can't say the same for us? After we drew at both stadiums earlier in the season and battered Villa in their own backyard?

Really? He gave the ball away 4/5 times , three of those in dangerous areas. If that was Bisoumma he’d be getting absolute pelters for that half imo.
He was very much what was needed at HT, but there is a pattern to his play where he comes on and keeps it simple and controlled, then starts to get a little more expansive, then begins to try too much. Today was a good example. For 20 mins after HT he was arguably the best player on the pitch but the closer we got to the 90th minute the looser he got.

If we could just press pause with him when he's winning the ball and playing quick simple passes, or lofting it in behind the FB then we have a player.

All a bit academical as he will very probably be off in the summer anyway.

To be honest mate with the way we defend, I think Villa will take 4th spot. I cant see us getting anything from Man City, Arse, Pool and we might just get a point each from Newcastle and Chelsea as those are the only two that fail to take their chances as bad as we do.
Maybe but top matches are a different dog

such a strange and false thing to say.

Villa did beat City and Arsenal earlier in the season but either side of those results have lost most of the bigger games.

We have beaten Liverpool, drew at both City and Arsenal and beat United.

Villa lost both games to United who are crap.

We actually seem to turn up in those games, it's the Wolves and Fulham games we suffer in
