Really hoping the mid-week match has taken it out of Everton

There looked to be most of their first team playing. Really hope we can be clinical early, as this will be a tough match, not made easier with the suspensions on top of our injuries.

Docoure looks set to miss the game on Saturday.

Apparently has a hamstring issue.

For me, he's their best player/most important player.

Great boost for us that.
Hope so wouldn't suprise me if he made a miraculous recovering for our game, would be our luck.

If anyone’s still looking to go I’ve just put my seat on the exchange. Family circs mean I cant make it.

(Caveat: I’m not suggesting the following)… Does anyone think Ange might give Dier a start in this game to provide a bit more height to combat their fleet of giants? I would be surprised if he did. But then again, Ange has shown that he isn’t afraid of making small changes here and there based on the strengths and weaknesses of our opponents. He sticks to his core principles but does sprinkle a bit of pragmatism into his plans on occasion.

Dier would cough up the ball under pressure and likely give them more set pieces as a result so I doubt it

After Wolves away, no chance.

With Udogie out the backline is fairly obvious. Royal, Davies,Romero, Porro

Fron line also picks itself, Richarlison, Son and Johnson(if he's not under the concussion protocol)

Middle is where choice has to be made but with only skipp, Sarr and Kulu, Hojbjerg available it's not much of one

One thing I've noticed from set pieces is the pressure put on players. We don't always win the header but when we don't we often get enough contact on the player who does win it. Our record defending set pieces has been good so I don't think we change anything here. No doubt Richarlison back is key though as we could use his aerial ability in our box. I think its part of the game Kane wasn't always recognised for but did well defending set pieces.

Yes, Harry was always there for the front post corners.

This game could be the West Ham game all over again - we dominate the game and they score 2 goals from long balls/breaks.

Supporting Spurs for 60 years has knocked all the optimism out of my system!
