typical to see only 63 pages after this comfortable win against one of our top hated opponents . Would have been 3 figures by now if we had lost. Unfortunately does rather reflect our fans current mentality.

The match was all about commitment which we had in spades - so good watching us defend as a team - if we can just add a little more guile going forward then who knows - i thought we would lose today but I didn’t realise quite how bad Chelsea are - they had no answer to to a team with every player putting in 110%

Great win. Pretty much controlled the game. No real heart attack moments.

I thought the Hammers and Chelsea would give us a right go at but we kept them both at arms length

The more I see of Skipp scampering about the midfield and then smashing that goal today it is reminding me of a certain old player of ours by the name of Steve Perryman.

Deserves to be sacked. Just look at the Kane goal, he has Sterling marking one of the greatest goal scorers in PL history.
That was just bizarre, and picked up by someone on here early doors.
I've seen us do shit like that in the past, Trippier marking some fkin great lump of the oppositions biggest goal threat for example.
Imo it shows a complete cowardice and shunning of responsibility from the centrebacks. Thats there bloody job!
I cant believe Potter set them up to do that.

Thats been mentioned before. I rate the guy I really do. If he's on the pitch you know about it. He doesnt hide and is involved in everything.
People forget he was absolute mustard before his injury.

Negative news sells mate that’s always been the way of the world nothing new.

Was a good win but the style of play hardly gets you off your seat so another reason for why not tons of pages.

But credit to the lads, good solid performance and win.

He isn’t. All he is saying is that you can’t stay zonal on the second ball which is what it is once Dier makes contact. At that point you can’t lose your man
There wouldn't be a 2nd ball to play if Chilwell did what he was supposed to do and pushed up. I don't understand how you can watch that sequence and think the issue was Sterling doing what they obviously has been drilled to do and not Chilwell chilling several feet deeper. You might say zonal is a bad way to defend, ok, but that is borderline irrelevant.

I know what you mean but I do think a part of this is because people are less likely to flock an internet forum after a massive derby win as they're like... celebrating and enjoying life.

He gave the ball away a few times early on but the goal made him feel 10 ft tall and he was wrapping passes into the front players feet and slamming in crucial tackles after that.

Happy for Skippy.

Playing regular games helps most players to find a better rhythm.

Mate, we beat Chelsea 2-0 and never really looked threatened.
The stadium was bouncing by all accounts too, so if that doesn't get you off your seat and buzzing, I don't know what will?

It was a great result and a great team performance, spattered with some outstanding individual displays.
I don't understand what people expect/want nowadays.
